I think this product looks nicer when applied with your fingers rather than a brush. The longevity is a bit disappointing, so next time I'll try using an Urban Decay primer first before applying it.

The chalky texture, white color, and matte pearls mean the longevity is really quite poor, and after some time you'll notice the pearls have fallen off your face a bit.
The signature NARS matte packaging also only looks nice at first, and I'm worried about it getting dirty if I carry it around in my pouch.

When I want to do a more natural makeup look or remove some of my makeup, I often use it on my aegyo-sal or eyelids.
In fact, these kinds of shades are often found in palettes at Olive Young. But unlike this product, the pearls are not as natural and pretty - they're small and chalky... It's hard to describe, but it just doesn't have the same feel.
When I apply the Nightstar to my eyelids, the pearly finish looks so pure and subtle. Those who don't like wearing pearls on their eyelids or find bold colors unflattering would really like this product.

I was conflicted about wanting to keep it, but I'm so satisfied now that I received it as a gift. It's absolutely gorgeous!

The matte, non-glossy case gets dirty easily, and the price is high. There is also powder fallout.

The finely milled particles and beautiful pearly shimmer make this product suitable for daily use.

Although it was the pre-reformulated product, it seemed to have poor durability - the lid fell off after I dropped it once, and the case surface started getting sticky over time, making it difficult to maintain.
There was also some powder fallout, and the eyeshadow surface seemed to clump up due to oil buildup.

The first product I purchased from Nars was Night Star and Galapagos, which were great daily wear colors.
The beige base with gold pearl combination suited my warm-toned skin well, and it applied smoothly with my fingers. The light color blended in seamlessly, so it was easy to just swipe it on.
As the base color faded over time, it left behind just the transparent pearl, which looked beautiful when hit by light and sparkled nicely.

You really need to apply it with your fingers to see its true potential.

I can't believe I just discovered this product now. As a big fan of Nas, I'm kicking myself for not knowing about it all this time. Nothing I've tried before has given me 100% satisfaction, but this product has been a revelation. It has a subtle yet definitive presence, and the color is exactly what I've been searching for all this time. I'm using it on my aegyo sal and eyelids, and the larger pearl particles give it an incredible presence compared to when I used other products.


The best way to apply this is using your fingers.

It's too expensive. There are better eyeshadow products with more glitters at more affordable prices.

Night star is a pale peach beige with a gold sparkle finish. The glitter is very fine, so it's quite subtle to see. The case is so pretty.

The downside is that the glitter is quite large, so it tends to fall off easily.
While going about my daily life, I constantly feel the glitter flaking off and getting in my eyes.
When I apply it to the under-eye area, the glitter even ends up on my cheeks.


I purchased the Nightstar and it's so beautiful.
It works great as a base, helping to even out my skin tone.

There is a bit of fallout, but it's pretty enough to use despite that.💕

The gold shimmer is not great...
I guess I didn't realize I have a cool skin tone.. No wonder it looked a bit off.

This would look absolutely stunning on those with fair skin.
It will float beautifully on darker skin tones.

Like me, if you bought it for aegyo sal but don't use it, try using it to lower the chroma on your eyes

It's quite fluffy! But compared to Too Cool, it's a bit more thinly fluffy. And I saw on YouTube that the color is more natural than Too Cool. It seems they said the color is brighter than Too Cool 01, but applies thinly and looks natural~
If you want it to be a bit darker than Too Cool, I don't recommend buying it.
It's almost a faded color... do you really need to check it again? 
If you like Too Cool, then don't buy it... I recommend it.
If you don't mind a pink undertone, then buy the Ppuppa!
The powder fallout is terrible... you can't carry it around!! 
Also, it doesn't apply thickly, so the satisfaction level is low 😢 I don't apply it to my aegyo sal either.

When doing eye makeup, the chroma is too high ?? Ah.. if you apply this when you're wondering what to do, the white mixes in and lowers it a bit haha

The pearlescent finish doesn't seem to be very long-lasting, and it may start to look a bit messy after some time.

I really like this product as it matches my preference for clean and neat makeup looks. The color is an ivory shade that gives a fresh and bright look when applied to the eyes. It also enhances the natural aegyo-sal (under-eye fullness) nicely.
