It absorbs really well, leaving the skin feeling firm and supple. I love that it comes in a dark brown glass bottle, which seems to protect the product from light damage. It has a thin, liquid consistency with a yellow hue. The serum applies smoothly and feels hydrating without any stickiness. I'm impressed that just two or three drops seem to make my skin feel noticeably more moisturized. There's honestly nothing to complain about! I'm really enjoying using this product. It's great that I got this on sale for a good price! Nothing else really stands out though. The amount is... quite small, so you end up using it up quickly. I used this idebenone ampoule together with my MTS treatment. Initially, I tried a famous product that came in separate Step 1 and Step 2 bottles, but it was just okay. Then I discovered this Cellbien product while looking for alternatives, and I've stuck with it ever since. 1. High idebenone content I searched high and low for a good idebenone ampoule. Many affordable 1000ppm options actually have lower idebenone content. Even the Step 1/2 product I first tried had less than this one (though it did have other beneficial ingredients). After extensive research, I couldn't find anything with this concentration at this price point. (You can get 4 bottles for around $50 on the Cellbien website) 2. Consistent use leads to clearer skin I originally bought this to use with MTS, so that's mainly how I used it. I was lazy at first and didn't use it often, but after a major skin flare-up, I committed to using it with MTS for a couple of months. With consistent use, a coworker even commented that my complexion looked clearer. I definitely noticed a difference too! I wish I had taken before and after photos. This is a product where you need to be patient to see results. I even started thinking it could have great brightening effects with long-term use. My laziness kicked in again and I stopped using it, but now that my skin isn't looking its best, I've just reordered it today. 3. Absorbs well and hydrates when used alone When used in the right amount, it absorbs nicely and helps with deep dryness. I have combination dehydrated skin and used to wake up feeling dry, but this product helped reduce that morning tightness. I'm writing this review, even without photos, because I really hope this product sells well enough to avoid being discontinued. I've had so many favorites get discontinued or reformulated over the years, forcing me to switch. While I'm not currently using it, I've just placed another order. I'll try to write an update with photos in a few months! 1. The biggest downside is the small size It's really disappointing. I wish it came in a larger size, but since it's affordable, I'm still satisfied using it as is. 2. Feels a bit sticky when first applied Due to its high concentration, it can feel a bit sticky when you first put it on. It absorbs quickly, but I wanted to mention this for those who might be sensitive to texture. 3. Use only the right amount I tend to use a lot of ampoules and essences, both morning and night. While this product absorbs quickly when you use the right amount, it takes much longer to sink in if you use too much like I do. On busy mornings when I'm rushing to get ready for work, I switched to a faster-absorbing product (with tea tree extract) because using too much of this made my routine take too long. If you're like me and like to apply your products generously, you'll need to allow more time when using this in the morning. I bought this for a clear and radiant complexion, and the ingredients seem promising. The scent is a mix of oil with a hint of fruit. Since it contains antioxidants, I'm hopeful it will help with wrinkle improvement. The main drawback is that it's only 30ml, so it probably won't last very long. I've tried many idebenone products, but this one is the best! It's the least irritating and has a high idebenone content. I thought it might be sticky because it feels a bit viscous when dispensing, but once applied to the face, there's no stickiness at all! It also absorbs well into the skin. There's a slight yellow tint? I heard it's because of the high idebenone content. It's very subtle though, so it's hardly noticeable. I think it works best when used alone after toner!
