Personal Color: Spring Soft (between light and deep undertone) 2. Skin Tone: #21 Fair complexion 3. Prefer muted pink/coral makeup [07 Rose Story]: MLBB rose/mauve pink feel, perfect for daily wear 🍒 What I Loved 🍒 1. Adherence (Application) Among the lip products I've tried, this one applies quite matte, yet it adheres lightly to the lips while feeling soft and smooth! 🙂 It transfers slightly onto masks, but not excessively. 2. No Emphasis on Dead Skin Cells I'm prone to lip flakiness.. Despite its appearance suggesting it might emphasize dead skin, it applies smoothly even on days when my lips aren't in great condition, which was pleasantly surprising..🤭🤭 I thought it would require careful application, but it's fine to apply casually even with a bare face! 3. Can Be Used Like a Lip Liner If you sharpen the tip with a sharpener, you can neatly draw your lip line! It doesn't smudge much, so I recommend it for those who dislike touch-ups🤍 4. Value for Money On Coupang, you can find the Velvet Pencil Duo + Sharpener for just over 20,000 won. I feel it's higher quality than drugstore matte lip products, so I think it's great value! 5. Variety of Colors I've only used [07 Rose Story], but there's a wide range of colors, especially well-executed muted MLBB shades. I plan to buy and try other colors too☺️
Cons🍒 Room for Improvement 🍒 1. [07 Rose Story] Color Darker Than Expected I have fair warm-toned skin, and while this color definitely doesn't look out of place like a bright nude lip would, it was a bit darker on my face than I expected.. But I keep using it despite the slightly disappointing color because of how well it applies, and I plan to buy other shades! Considering personal color: Light deep undertone: x Light/Deep undertone: Perfect for medium to dark tones! Especially deep undertone!! 🍂🍂 If you consider yourself the epitome of deep undertone, you must buy this (Hard sell) 2. No Blurring Effect As it's a matte lip that adheres closely to the lips, there's no blurring effect to hide lip lines..! All wrinkles are visible
TipIf you want to casually apply a light rose MLBB shade that works well with average lip condition, this is it! Great application..🤍🤍 Doesn't look out of place even on a bare face! Highly recommended for medium to dark skin tones with deep undertone Next, I'd like to try Amorose or Nudiful💄

It's a dried rose shade that's perfect for daily, subtle wear. I'm used to wearing strong, vivid, high-saturation colors, so it took some getting used to. The fragrance-free formula makes it comfortable to apply without any concerns. The pencil format makes it easy to swipe on, and it's great for overlining too! I think I'll use this as a base and add a brighter color in the center. The shade leans more towards a pink-beige rather than a brick orange, but it's slightly deeper without being overwhelming. It's a natural color that would suit anyone!
ConsIt's slightly matte, so you'll need to keep your lips well-moisturized with lip balm!

It was surprisingly impressive. (In the photo, 07 Rose Story is on the left, and 15 Rouge Escarpin is on the right.) Let's talk about these shades! 07 is a calm rose color with a hint of purple. It's not overly light or nude, but when applied, it creates a subtle, sophisticated rose lip without any patchiness. Though it's a cool-toned lip color, I, as a warm-toned person, love using it in autumn. It's exactly the rose shade I adore. It instantly gives you that chic vibe. 15 is a chili red, but not the dusty or brown-tinged kind. It's a slightly deep, perfectly pretty red. It's a beautiful red without any warm or neon orange undertones. Layering 07 as a base with 15 as an inner accent looks absolutely stunning. Advantages: - Minimal transfer and excellent adherence (long-lasting). Honestly, when the product page claimed it wouldn't transfer to masks and had long-lasting power, I was skeptical. But it really does have minimal transfer. It transfers much less than other velvet tints or velvet lipsticks. I realized this not just with masks, but when drinking water from paper cups - it didn't leave messy lip product marks. That was a pleasant surprise! - Smooth application. It applies very smoothly without clumping. There's no issue with it only applying to the lip line or outside of it. The product page mentioned it feels light as if you're not wearing anything, and I agree. It applies smoothly without feeling thick, making it comfortable on the lips. This aspect is highly satisfying. The thinness seems to contribute to its excellent adherence. - Not particularly drying and less likely to emphasize dry patches. Some velvet lipsticks with smooth application can be slightly matte, but this Velvet Pencil isn't very matte at all. I haven't tried it in the dead of winter yet, but it's less drying than other velvet tints. With 1-2 applications, it doesn't significantly emphasize dry patches. - High pigmentation! The color payoff is excellent. It doesn't slide around on your lips when applying, so you get exactly the color you see on the pencil.
ConsThere aren't many downsides, but if I had to nitpick: - Being a pencil, if you want to create a blurred overlip look like with velvet tints, you'll need to smudge the lip line edges a bit with your finger or a brush. - I wish there were more color options. Korean products generally suit my color preferences better. To be fair, this product does have all the basic colors you might need! It's just that the color range is smaller compared to something like Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet tints.
TipWith its superior adherence and relatively non-drying formula, I personally highly recommend it. If you're tired of transferring velvet tints, this is the one for you.

The color is an MLBB pink rose that would suit light undertones best. It's a sophisticated shade perfect for autumn wear.
ConsAt first, I thought the lip pencil was an automatic type, but it turns out you need to sharpen it with a sharpener. That was a bit disappointing. The texture is also quite matte, which I found less than ideal.
TipI recommend using this as a base rather than on its own, then adding a bolder color for accent!
