ProsIf I had to choose one fragrance for life, it would be Hwyl. It's closer to Lapsang Souchong than Jeong San So Jong, with a sharp, smoky scent. Some say it smells like a temple, smoked sausage, burnt wood, or the woody aroma you get when entering a sauna - definitely a love-it-or-hate-it scent. In my younger days, I preferred floral and citrus notes, but life experiences have led me to favor woody fragrances. This is my signature scent, and I keep repurchasing it before it runs out.
ConsWhile it's not a complete doorway dud, the longevity isn't great, so I tend to wear it just for my own enjoyment.
TipLess of a tip and more of an observation: in these times of political uncertainty and gloom, inhaling this scent seems to calm my anger and soothe my nerves a bit.
