The viscosity is moderate, not too heavy or too light. When applied, it starts off very smooth, then becomes a bit sticky, and eventually dries to a slightly dry feeling. It absorbs really well, and I actually found it a bit drying for my skin, but the next day, I noticed my skin seemed to have improved, which may or may not be due to this product.
