Best of all, compared to other low-pH shampoos, it doesn't leave my hair feeling overly dry. Plus, the large size and affordable price are definite advantages.
ConsThe cleansing effectiveness feels a bit lacking. After switching from Dr. * Hair Phytotherapy, I notice that my scalp doesn't feel as refreshed after washing, and my hair seems to get oily faster. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily scalps.

The lather was rich, and I could feel my scalp getting thoroughly cleansed. There's a cooling effect that refreshes the scalp, which made me feel like it was clearing my head too. I was very satisfied using this product^^ I loved that it contains plant-based ingredients and seven natural oils, making it gentle to use. Being a slightly acidic, silicone-free shampoo, it's great for both hair and scalp health. My scalp is extremely sensitive and problematic, but the more I used this, the more I noticed my scalp blemishes improving! Plus, my hair became noticeably softer, which I absolutely loved!!^^
ConsThere's really nothing to complain about - it seems to be an excellent shampoo overall!
TipWhen you use the Edelweiss shampoo together with the treatment, the fragrance is even better, and the refreshing feeling combined with scalp health benefits creates an incredible synergy effect^-^

The herbal scent isn't from artificial fragrances, so it's not overpowering - it gently wafts during your shower and then fades away. As a mom, I have to be careful about the ingredients in my cosmetics, and this product worked well for me. Even when my baby's hair rubbed against it, there were no rashes. Personally, it's a product I bought for my daily routine and really enjoyed using! Being a low pH shampoo, it doesn't damage the hair, and my hair has become incredibly healthy. Since I don't use conditioner or treatments, it's not silk-soft, but both my scalp and hair have become healthier. I have severe allergies to fragrances, and often got blemishes when using cosmetics or shampoos, but after using this, the blemishes on my scalp disappeared.
ConsIt's not widely available. After using two bottles and liking it, I wanted to buy more, but found out it was discontinued and couldn't purchase it. Also, now that I've looked at the ingredient list, I've realized there are many other shampoos with similar prices but milder and better ingredients. So I won't necessarily repurchase, but if it becomes available again, I'd like to stock up on a few bottles when they're on sale. The most important thing to note is that this is an herbal shampoo with a lot of herbs, so if you're allergic or sensitive to herbs, it could irritate your scalp. I get along well with herbs, so I was very satisfied, but others should keep this in mind.
TipFor short hair, one application is enough, but for long hair, I recommend washing twice. It might also be a good idea to check if your scalp is compatible with herbs beforehand.

My hair feels soft even with just shampooing!
ConsWhile the ingredients seem good, my scalp gets itchy after using this. I guess there's something in it that doesn't agree with me.

I've already switched my body and face products to low pH, so I thought it was important to do the same for my shampoo. At first, it felt a bit slippery and like it wasn't cleaning properly, but now I'm completely used to it. In fact, when I use a shampoo that leaves my hair squeaky clean, I get a bit worried, thinking 'Isn't this too harsh?' Anyway, I'm very reassured by the ingredients, and the cleansing effectiveness is good too. Plus, you get a lot of product!
ConsOverall, it's okay, but I can't find any standout features that make me think 'I must use this shampoo!' I'm not really one for trying new things - I tend to stick with one product. Whether it's body wash, serum, or anything else, if I like something, I'll use it for years. With this product, though, I find myself wondering what its unique selling point is. The Hwahae Testers reading this review might feel a bit disheartened, but you can use this feedback to improve even more! That's just my two cents!

It's gentle on the hair and leaves it in great condition. Highly recommended!
ConsIt would be nice if the price was a bit more affordable, but I guess that's asking for too much.

Just one pump creates an abundance of lather. As someone who prefers unscented products, I appreciate that while there's a subtle fragrance during washing, it doesn't linger after drying my hair.
ConsWhile it may be a personal allergic reaction, I initially experienced a tingling sensation on my scalp and itchiness on my forehead after washing. With my slightly oily scalp, I thought the mild acidity might not cleanse thoroughly. However, after a few days of use, I noticed flaking and redness on my face, prompting me to discontinue use. It's unclear which ingredient caused this, but it affected my facial skin as well. It's been two days since I stopped using it after a week of use, and the flaking has significantly improved with no more itching. It's unfortunate that I bought a large bottle that I can't fully use.
TipFor best results, thoroughly wet your scalp with warm water before applying the shampoo. This helps create a rich, creamy lather.

Definitely deserves 5 stars, no, make it 10! I recently discovered this shampoo through Difa's video. Wow... I wish all shampoos were made like this. I bought two bottles and have been using it for about a week now. The great points!! 1. Excellent ingredients~ It's mildly acidic but has fantastic cleansing effectiveness. The lather is rich! 2. No itchy scalp. Doesn't that speak volumes about its superior cleansing power? 3. No dead skin cells flaking off! The previous mildly acidic shampoo I used caused flaking... 4. No oily residue! Keeps my hair fresh and clean until evening. 5. Large size, affordable price! The value for money is incredible~~ 6. The scent isn't overpowering! Fragrances are toxins for the skin...! Aekyung deserves an award! I'm so grateful for this mildly acidic shampoo that comes in a large size, is affordable, cleanses well... It's not burdensome at all but works wonders. Please don't discontinue it and keep selling it for a long time!
ConsThere are no downsides. If I absolutely have to mention something, the texture is a bit stiff. Should I say it's thick...?
TipSince it's on the thicker side, make sure to thoroughly wet your scalp so the lather spreads evenly instead of concentrating in one area.

I've tried Aveda, Origins, Mise-en-Scene, and even herbal shampoos. Looking back, I realize I didn't really know what worked for me or what was important. Ingredients: It's a mildly acidic shampoo with plant-derived surfactants, which piqued my interest as potentially good for the scalp. After all, chemical ingredients are our biggest concern, right? Scent: The fragrance is a natural herbal scent, not artificial at all. It reminds me of Origins' ginger shampoo. It doesn't linger long though, so if you're after that lasting fresh-shampooed smell, this might not be for you. It just gives a nice mood boost while washing. Cleansing effectiveness: The lather is a bit ambiguous - it seems to foam well, then not so much. For a natural shampoo, it's decent, but not quite enough for that squeaky clean feeling. You might need to thoroughly wet your scalp first. Post-wash: Right after shampooing, my hair definitely feels softer. However, with all the fine dust in the air these days, it's hard to avoid that dry, dusty feeling after being outside. Can't blame the shampoo for that! I'm curious how it would work as a set with the matching treatment.
ConsThe scent doesn't last long. Don't expect an intensely refreshing scalp care experience. Also, where can you even buy this?
TipSince it doesn't lather much, using a scalp brush alongside this shampoo works wonders.

The feel is similar to a mild acidic gel cleanser. After use, my scalp feels comfortable, but as someone with an oily scalp, I need to shampoo twice for it to work well. Also, after switching from anti-hair loss shampoo to this, I noticed my hair felt less voluminous.
ConsI'm prone to blemishes on my scalp, and after using this, I feel like I'm getting even more...
