It's a unisex perfume that's particularly well-suited for autumn and winter, with a long-lasting sillage.
ConsThe downside is that, being a woody scent, it might not appeal to everyone. It's also on the pricier side, and the bottle is quite heavy, making it less portable. Unfortunately, the spray mechanism could be more powerful.

I heard it was available as a solid perfume for about 3 months, so I bought it to dip my toes into the world of fragrances! 1. Lingering scent: I'm one of those cases where I liked it even more after buying it because of the lovely lingering scent! The initial scent was very woody, and while I usually love Lush, this wasn't a fragrance I was particularly fond of at first. However, the lingering scent remained delicately floral. From woody to subtly floral - I think you'll find it much more appealing if you focus on the lingering scent rather than the initial one. It also gives me a bit of a winter vibe? It feels like a scent that would pair perfectly with a coat, so I think I'll be using it a lot this winter!
ConsThe initial scent is quite woody (really, very green), so you might want to let it settle a bit after spraying before heading out. Other than that, no complaints!

The blend of rosewood, sandalwood, and vetiver is so soothing - the more I smell it, the more relaxed I feel. It's often marketed as a men's fragrance, but I think it works perfectly as a unisex scent. The lingering sweetness and the absence of heavier notes like cedarwood make it versatile. I was curious about the ingredients and looked it up on Hwahae - compared to other perfumes, the composition is quite impressive!
ConsThe projection isn't as strong as I expected. Even after multiple sprays, the scent seems to stay close to my skin without traveling far. However, people around me can still detect it, so I guess it's just average in that regard. The price is a bit disappointing, and since Lush products in Korea are imported from Japan, there's always that nagging concern about radiation.
TipI'd recommend buying directly from the UK or Australian Lush websites. Even with shipping costs, it's often cheaper than buying from Lush Korea.

Upon sampling, I fell in love with its woody notes. It's quintessentially Lush, yet versatile enough to suit anyone. It's the kind of scent that would make you turn your head if you caught a whiff on a passerby. What's fascinating is how it evolves - I sprayed it on my coat, and the next day, the lingering scent had transformed into something entirely new and captivating. That residual fragrance made me fall for it all over again.
ConsThe downside, as always with Lush, is the price. It's a love-hate relationship with this brand.
TipI use this alongside Dirty, and the combination is absolutely divine. The scents complement each other, creating a rich, complex fragrance that's truly exceptional. I've received numerous compliments when wearing this blend.

Many of Lush's fragrances have a woody initial scent, but I wanted something with a soft lingering note, so I chose this one. Smuggler's Soul seems to be a fragrance that captivates you more with its lasting scent rather than its initial impression. The opening is fresh and woody, but as time passes, it leaves a powdery trail. That's why I felt it was perfect for winter. Although it's marketed as unisex, it leans more feminine. The initial woody note has citrus undertones, and it evolves into a powdery finish! This was my first experience with a scent that's both woody and powdery, which I really enjoyed. Comparing it to other fragrances, All Good Things also transitions from woody to sweet, and Smuggler's Soul has a similar surprising charm. However, the lingering scent here is less sweet and more gentle.
ConsAs I mention in every Lush perfume review - the packaging is still unappealing. Also, this one seems to be on the pricier side among the white label fragrances. Lush perfumes are usually affordable impulse buys, but this one doesn't seem to offer great value for its volume.
TipDon't make your decision based on the initial impression when testing! This fragrance gets even better as time passes!
