  This is a perfume I bought after wanting to try a woody scent again after using a sweet one for a while. Lush has many fragrances with a woody initial note, and I bought this one because I wanted a soft, lingering scent. Smuggler's Soul seems to be a fragrance that you get hooked on because of the dry down, rather than the top note. The top note is fresh and woody, and it becomes more powdery as it dries down. So I felt this was a perfect winter scent. It's marketed as unisex, but has a more feminine feel. The initial woody note is citrusy, and it becomes more powdery as it develops! I really liked the woody yet powdery scent, as it was a new experience for me. And compared to other fragrances, All Good Things also transitions from a woody note to a sweet dry down, and Smuggler's Soul has a similar reversal appeal. But the lingering dry down is less sweet and more soft.
