No, if they put a lot of essence in it, the mask should absorb well. But after applying the mask, the essence was dripping from my mouth and chin, so I had to wipe it with tissues. The amount of essence is as generous as the size. It seems like you can use the pack sufficiently even though it's salty. At first, I didn't know and just took it out, and the sheet was soaked in the essence.
I was worried it might drip, but the essence itself was not a thin liquid type. It had a viscous feel. From the second time, I scooped out a little less and used it. I think the whitening and wrinkle improvement effects are not immediately visible, but I think it's fine since I applied based on the Hwahae Trial Reviewer's recommendation.

For those with oily or seborrheic skin, it's probably best not to use it more than 2-3 times a week. As someone very sensitive to oil and prone to breakouts, I initially used the mask every 2 days, but by the 3rd time, it wasn't absorbing well and just sat on top of my skin. My skin is sensitive to oil and prone to breakouts/oily/seborrheic dermatitis.
I started using it every 2 days, then changed to every 3 days after a week.
I could feel the nourishing ingredients right away as soon as I applied it.
