It's non-irritating and feels slightly cooling when applied! Compared to other products, I could tell this one was really gentle on my skin. I used it well for hydration during winter~! Thanks to this, my skin wasn't dry at all! It feels quite oily... And it doesn't seem to absorb well into the skin. While Dr. Belmeur's foam cleanser is somewhat decent, this product was really disappointing. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin! - ti********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 3, 2024
I love how moisturizing it is. It's a bit on the rich side, so in the morning I mix it with aloe to make it lighter. I didn't really notice any downsides. Though I think it might not be enough on its own during winter. - qk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2024
It's perfect for everyday use. There's no irritation, and while the hydration is a bit lacking for my dry skin, considering it's an acne-focused line, it's quite good. The hydration is somewhat insufficient, but unless it's winter, it's great for a light and refreshing application. I think it works better if you lock in moisture with a mist or toner before applying the emulsion. - ps******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 9, 2024
As someone with acne-prone skin, I was pleased that this product didn't cause any tingling sensation and suited my skin well While the product's main benefit is supposed to be sebum control, I didn't really notice any improvement in that area - si******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedAug 16, 2024
This has been my daily staple for years. When I was in middle school, my skin was super sensitive and prone to blemishes, so I searched for an emulsion for daily use and settled on this one. It's gentle and suitable for sensitive skin without causing breakouts! I highly recommend it to those looking for a mild daily moisturizer rather than one packed with intense functions. It pairs well with toner and has a gentle synergy. After applying the emulsion, it leaves the skin feeling slightly smooth with a rich finish. It can feel a bit heavy for summer use. I'd suggest applying just a tiny amount, or only using a hydrating moisturizer in summer. Also, it has a slight scent similar to antiseptic emulsions. Personally, it didn't bother me much, but some might not like it. This product tends to leave a rich finish, making it ideal for dry autumn and winter months. For those who prefer an emulsion over a hydrating moisturizer and want something for summer, there's a lighter, more refreshing emulsion in the same line that's perfect for the warmer months! - jo*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedAug 11, 2024
The gentle formula absorbs well and has a nice texture. It's great as a body emulsion too, with minimal stickiness. I've stocked up and continue to use it. There's nothing to complain about - the scent, application, and absorption are all on point. It's suitable for everyday use. It works well on elbows and other body parts too. - le*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJul 19, 2024
Application: 4/5 Absorption: 5/5 Moisturizing: 5/5 Scent: 4/5 Texture: 5/5 It's easy to use and versatile. I'm currently using it as a body emulsion. • It has a slightly rich feel. • Not suitable for acne-prone skin. (That's why I'm using it as a body emulsion) - kh********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedApr 30, 2024
I usually don't like heavy emulsions, but I loved how lightweight this one is. It doesn't feel suffocating even when applied in summer, and I could get that hydration at the same time! After a few hours of application, it feels like everything just vanished? It provided sufficient moisture, but still, the feeling is... disappointing. - eo*****Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2024
I love Dr. Belmeur's signature subtle scent, so I initially bought this as a hand cream. However, its moisturizing power is so good that I ended up using it on my face and finished the whole tube before I knew it. The texture is light and hydrating, which might not suit those looking for a thicker consistency, but it's perfect for a weightless application (though the price isn't as light). Unlike many scented products that tend to go off towards the end, this one maintains its fantastic fragrance even when it's almost empty. The tube design with the opening at the bottom is convenient - just stand it up and squeeze. No need to shake it to mix the emulsion, which is a plus. Like all Dr. Belmeur products, the price is a bit on the steep side. - pp***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2024
I bought this product on a whim during a trip, and I've been using it for over a year now because I love it so much. It provides just the right amount of hydration for my dry skin - not too heavy, not too light. It works even better when used with the toner from the same line. The gentle ingredients seem to prevent any blemishes from appearing. In winter, it's slightly lacking in moisture, so I use it alongside another cream for extra hydration.
