My husband uses this often. It's a decent product, but I think Mise-en-Scène might be better. The ingredients aren't as good as I expected, so I'm planning to switch to Mise-en-Scène. - hs********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresNov 25, 2021
I was struggling with those pesky flyaways that kept popping up, but I heard that using wax to press them down and hold them in place works wonders, so I decided to give it a try. Since I only needed it for flyaways, I didn't want a large container, so I was pleased to find it comes in a smaller size too. I'm not sure if it's because I don't know how to use it properly, but it didn't work at all for me. Even after applying the wax, the flyaways wouldn't settle down. They just clumped together and hardened, sticking straight up. I guess I should have used a spray instead of wax. If anyone knows how to effectively use wax to tame flyaways, please leave a comment... You can easily control the amount by applying a small amount to the brush you use for your eyebrows. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2021
Gatsby products are well-known and easily available at convenience stores, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, the user experience and all aspects of the product were generally satisfactory. I noticed that after using this product just once, it felt like it completely ruined my hair texture. Being a matte type, it didn't seem to suit me well. Rather than feeling like it held my hair in place, there were times when it made my hair feel greasy and clumped together. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2020
It's a decent product for everyday use. The scent isn't overpowering, and its performance is average. To be honest, while people rave about Gatsby, I'm not sure if its hold or the way it clumps is really that great. It could be that I'm just not using it correctly. - x.*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 26, 2020
I've been using this for over a decade. Its setting power and matte finish after application are truly captivating features of this product. When shampooing, I notice the product's drawbacks. It feels stiff, which has led me to search for a more nourishing option. - 77*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessMar 7, 2020
It's great for touching up those flyaways and finishing touches after styling your hair I just realized it's made in Japan... I bought it a while ago, but I won't be using it again after this one's finished - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2020
Great value for money wax. When you mention you bought this popular product, everyone around you starts sharing their opinions. My hair is extremely straight, so it quickly reverted back to its original state. For very straight hair, it's essential to use a hairspray along with this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2019
As my first wax, it's hard to compare, but the hold is impressive. I didn't experience any blemishes. It seems like I could use this for a long time without issues. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 11, 2019
Great setting power. The fragrance-free formula is suitable for most. Good value for money too. Terrible cleansing effectiveness. No matter how many times I wash, it feels like something's left behind. Also, it seems to cause blemishes on my skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 31, 2019
I've been using this for years because of its excellent hold, and I love that the fragrance isn't irritating. I didn't realize it before, but compared to other products, this contains more harmful ingredients. Perhaps due to its poor cleansing effectiveness, my hair feels stiff and damaged after shampooing.
