When you first swatch it, it seems like a vibrant red, but when you apply it lightly, it's a pinkish shade with a bluish undertone. It's very similar to MAC Ruby Woo in color. The formula, despite being called a liquid lipstick, has more of a lip lacquer feel - it's very smoothly adhering. So it has the staining effect of a tint, but also great long-lasting wear. The finish is super matte, just as the name suggests.
