I was hesitant at first since it's a brand I hadn't seen before, but after trying it, I found the absorption to be quite nice and the scent not too overpowering, which I liked. That's not to say it's fragrance-free though. It's fairly hydrating without being too heavy. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. I'm particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy oil-based products, strong vitamin formulations, and alcohol ingredients. While pores are a concern for me, I've noticed that as I age, my skin's oil production has decreased and things seem to be improving naturally. Since sunscreens often cause blemishes for me, I'm always on the lookout for ones that won't trigger an allergic reaction. So far, the recently released blue tube sunscreen from Hera seems to work best for me! I'm the type whose lips react badly to Chanel and YSL lip products - they make my lips peel. Even the Nuxe natural honey lip balm causes a reaction. For now, Bepanthen lip balm works best for me. It's definitely a must-have item! For hair care, I prefer products that leave my hair feeling squeaky clean rather than those with a moisturizing after-feel. I also tend to favor hair essences over rinse-out conditioners. The brand's lack of recognition might make me hesitant to use it long-term. Also, it feels slightly rich, which makes my pores seem larger and brings a bit of oiliness to the surface. - kl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
For an emulsion, it's on the thicker side, making it suitable for use after toner during seasonal changes Those with sensitive skin should check for ingredients like PEG and dimethicone It might be a bit drying if used alone, so it's best to follow up with a moisturizer for optimal hydration - hn*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 25, 2021
Excellent for balancing oil and moisture. Effective even for acne-prone skin. Regarding stearic acid, consider it a necessary evil for oily and problematic skin types. Shea butter might not suit everyone. It feels a bit greasy when first applied, but after a while, your skin becomes perfectly supple. The ingredients include PEG and triethanolamine... I was satisfied while using it, but seeing these ingredients high up on the list makes me uneasy now. Couldn't they have used alternative ingredients with similar functions that aren't potentially harmful? For those with oily, sensitive, and problematic skin, it's best to reduce the overall amount of cosmetics used. Stick to a simple routine: 'Cleansing -> (Toner) -> Moisturizer -> (Sunscreen)' - wb****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2020
This product was originally sold in dermatology clinics. When I used to go for treatments, they would apply this as a finishing touch. Although it's fragrance-free, it's a gentle emulsion suitable for oily, dry, and super sensitive skin. Since it's used in dermatology clinics, you can trust its quality. The hydration is excellent, and I found it didn't cause any deep dryness, which was great. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but I felt like the moisturizing effect didn't last as long as I'd hoped. - as********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2020
It feels fresh and has just the right amount of moisture. It doesn't cause blemishes and is fragrance-free and non-irritating. The hydration might be a bit lacking for winter use. It's perfect for spring and fall though. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2019
I started using this on my doctor's recommendation and have continued to use it. It seems to be great for balancing oil and moisture and strengthening the skin barrier. After prolonged use, I've noticed my skin becoming oilier... I'm wondering if I should keep using it. My skin tends to break out once a month... When I apply a generous amount before bed, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated in the morning. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 2, 2019
I've been using this product consistently on my dermatologist's recommendation. However, the price... After checking the app, I noticed some potentially harmful ingredients... Hmm... I bought it based on the price and recommendations, but now that I've seen the ingredients, I might need to reconsider... - li*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2019
This is my holy grail skincare product! My dermatologist recommended a gentle emulsion, and even the nurses at the clinic say they only apply this before their sunscreen. I love it so much that I've been recommending it to all my friends. I have dry skin, but when I use this before sunscreen, my skin feels so hydrated. At night, I just apply this before bed, and in the morning, my skin's oil and moisture balance is perfect - my complexion just glows! It's seriously amazing. When I touch up my makeup during the day, I use this to remove my old makeup, reapply it, and then do my touch-ups. It keeps my skin so beautifully moisturized! The ingredients aren't perfect, to be honest. But hey, at least it doesn't cause any blemishes or irritation! Try decanting a bit into a sample container for touch-ups throughout the day. It works wonders! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2019
I had extremely dry skin and quite a few blemishes left after military service, so I tried this product for the first time when I saw it at the dermatologist's office. It's been almost 5 years since I started using it, and now I hardly get any breakouts. Whenever I try something else, a few blemishes pop up... So I feel like I can't use anything but this. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly disappointing about it. If I had to pick something, maybe the price..? - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 11, 2018
I've been using this product consistently for over 5 years on my dermatologist's recommendation. It keeps my skin hydrated without causing any blemishes, making it a great product that doesn't require layering with many other skincare items. It's a bit inconvenient that I can only purchase this from a dermatologist's office. Is it not available for online purchase?
