While it absorbs a bit heavily, when I apply it before bed, I wake up with incredibly hydrated skin that's perfect for makeup application.

To be honest, at first I was disappointed with how it absorbs, but now I just understand there must have been a reason for it.

When I first applied it, I felt something gritty, like sand, which made me wonder. After fully applying it, I questioned if this was really a hydration-focused product with 'soothing' in its name. But the results are truly satisfying. I work from home with the air conditioning on all day, but even when I touch my face, there's no dryness at all. I was worried it might cause pilling before makeup, but those concerns were completely unnecessary. Instead, it leaves my skin smooth and glowing. When I wake up in the morning, it's like my skin has had a real hydration bomb!

I haven't tried balm-type products from other brands, so I can't compare, but this one feels moisturizing and nice. It's pink, but when applied, you don't notice the color - instead, your skin becomes radiant. I've been mixing it with other creams. While the amount seems small, you only need a little bit to feel hydrated, and it creates a moisturizing barrier on the skin, so I think it will last a long time.

Apply it generously to areas with wrinkles - around the eyes, forehead, nasolabial folds, and neck! Gently massage in circular motions. Use this before your final moisturizing cream step. It works wonders!

Downsides? Well... if I had to find a downside... there aren't any!

I noticed that when I smile, my eyes become straight lines and crow's feet appear around them. Especially in winter when my face gets dry, the eye area is a disaster! Even with the slightest smile, wrinkles would form. I thought, 'I'm only in my 20s, this is crazy!' Feeling a bit shocked, I was looking for a more concentrated skincare product. Then I tried a sample that came with another purchase, and oh my goodness! Now I can smile with crescent moon eyes! Crow's feet? What are those? I know this sounds like I'm a Natural Shine employee, but I'm not at all... It's just really that good! I highly, highly recommend it!

I apply it as the last step in my routine, after toner, vitamin powder mixed with Dr.G Red Something cream. I take a small amount, warm it between my palms, and then gently pat it all over my face to help it absorb. Works great!

I apply it as the final step after my skin toner, emulsion, and cream. At first, I struggled with the amount and it felt a bit rich, but that sensation disappeared after a while. I have combination-oily skin and usually dislike heavy products, but I'm using this without any issues. Not sure if it's thanks to this, but people have been saying my skin looks better! Honestly, I like this even more than the lip product I originally wanted to try!

For extra dry areas, apply a hydrating ampoule before layering this on generously for even more moisture. When my skin was acting up, I used it consistently for about 3 days. My super sensitive skin calmed down significantly, and the dry patches became much more hydrated.

While it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a spatula, I'm not too bothered since I can use one I already have at home.
