Highly recommended for those with dry skin! First off, it's incredibly rich and melts instantly upon contact with your skin. The solid form makes it convenient to carry in a small container for on-the-go use. Due to its high oil content, it can leave a greasy feeling, making it less suitable for use before makeup. It's more appropriate as a night treatment. - km*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 9, 2023
While it absorbs a bit heavily, when I apply it before bed, I wake up with incredibly hydrated skin that's perfect for makeup application. The texture is quite rich, so I only apply it generously at night. However, I was thrilled to find no deep dryness the next morning. - go*******Combination SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 4, 2022
When I first applied it, I felt something gritty, like sand, which made me wonder. After fully applying it, I questioned if this was really a hydration-focused product with 'soothing' in its name. But the results are truly satisfying. I work from home with the air conditioning on all day, but even when I touch my face, there's no dryness at all. I was worried it might cause pilling before makeup, but those concerns were completely unnecessary. Instead, it leaves my skin smooth and glowing. When I wake up in the morning, it's like my skin has had a real hydration bomb! To be honest, at first I was disappointed with how it absorbs, but now I just understand there must have been a reason for it. - wj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2022
1. Hydration It's as moisturizing as an oil. 2. Texture It comes in a solid form. It's best to use a small spoon to scoop out a bit at a time. 3. Scent There's a subtle fragrance to it. 1. Price Compared to other balms, it's quite pricey for the amount you get. 1. Apply a small amount to the back of your hand and let it melt with your body heat before using. - bo*********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 18, 2021
I haven't tried balm-type products from other brands, so I can't compare, but this one feels moisturizing and nice. It's pink, but when applied, you don't notice the color - instead, your skin becomes radiant. I've been mixing it with other creams. While the amount seems small, you only need a little bit to feel hydrated, and it creates a moisturizing barrier on the skin, so I think it will last a long time. The jar packaging is a bit concerning for hygiene, but I suppose it's unavoidable with a balm-type product. I make sure to wash my hands well before applying it. - cj*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2021
I noticed that when I smile, my eyes become straight lines and crow's feet appear around them. Especially in winter when my face gets dry, the eye area is a disaster! Even with the slightest smile, wrinkles would form. I thought, 'I'm only in my 20s, this is crazy!' Feeling a bit shocked, I was looking for a more concentrated skincare product. Then I tried a sample that came with another purchase, and oh my goodness! Now I can smile with crescent moon eyes! Crow's feet? What are those? I know this sounds like I'm a Natural Shine employee, but I'm not at all... It's just really that good! I highly, highly recommend it! Downsides? Well... if I had to find a downside... there aren't any! Apply it generously to areas with wrinkles - around the eyes, forehead, nasolabial folds, and neck! Gently massage in circular motions. Use this before your final moisturizing cream step. It works wonders! - dr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2020
After seeing the lip product ad and reading some decent reviews, I decided to give it a try. I also heard collagen is great for women, so I bought this along with it. And wow, it's really good! I apply it as the final step after my skin toner, emulsion, and cream. At first, I struggled with the amount and it felt a bit rich, but that sensation disappeared after a while. I have combination-oily skin and usually dislike heavy products, but I'm using this without any issues. Not sure if it's thanks to this, but people have been saying my skin looks better! Honestly, I like this even more than the lip product I originally wanted to try! There's nothing I dislike about it. They're asking for at least 20 characters, but I really can't think of any downsides... I apply it as the last step in my routine, after toner, vitamin powder mixed with Dr.G Red Something cream. I take a small amount, warm it between my palms, and then gently pat it all over my face to help it absorb. Works great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2020
It's perfect for dry and sensitive skin during seasonal changes. The ingredients seem to be gentle, probably because they're all good. It absorbs well and feels like it locks in hydration. When you apply it, you get that Inner Glow look. While it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a spatula, I'm not too bothered since I can use one I already have at home. For extra dry areas, apply a hydrating ampoule before layering this on generously for even more moisture. When my skin was acting up, I used it consistently for about 3 days. My super sensitive skin calmed down significantly, and the dry patches became much more hydrated. - yo*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 30, 2020
I can't believe this amazing product only has one review! 😢 There aren't many cosmetics that make me think 'Wow, this is really good,' but this is definitely one of them. Natural Shine is famous for their Lip Cure, and after trying a sample of their lip balm, I immediately became a fan of the brand! The texture is like solidified oil, so you'll need a spatula. Using your fingers can get messy as it melts quickly with body heat. Don't worry though, a spatula is included. A little goes a long way - you only need a tiny amount for your whole face. When you warm it between your palms, it melts smoothly with your body heat. It's oddly satisfying! At first, you might think 'Yikes, it's so oily,' but don't worry at all. I apply it as the very last step in my skincare routine, after moisturizer. It feels like you're adding a final protective layer, but without any heaviness. It leaves your skin with a beautiful glow! As it's an oil balm, those with oily skin might not be interested. My skin type is combination and sensitive. Everywhere except my nose gets dry, even my forehead in winter. I was desperately looking for something to combat extreme dryness from fall onwards, which is why I bought this from Natural Shine. My skin is very reactive to bad ingredients, but this didn't cause any blemishes! Because it's oil-based, 'moisturizing' isn't quite the right word to describe it. It's just... great! If you feel like something's missing even after applying cream, or if your skin still feels dry, give this a try! There are no downsides! Well, having to use a spatula might be slightly inconvenient? But the product is so satisfying that it doesn't really matter! While I don't use it this way myself, I think it would work well mixed with foundation. Sometimes I apply it to rough areas like elbows and knees. It's amazing at instantly hiding dead skin cells and making skin look smooth and glossy. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2020
I have super sensitive skin, to the point where I usually use Physiogel or Baby Emulsion. The ingredients in this are great, and I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation whatsoever. While it feels rich when applying, it absorbs well into the skin once it meets your body heat. There's no sticky feeling either. Like all balm formulations, I worry about hygiene. I use a cotton swab to apply it separately. I take a small amount with a cotton swab and apply it under my eyes, around smile lines, near the nose, and under the chin. I then dab any remaining product on my lips. It even works well with matte lipsticks.
