I used this product every evening for three days. I wouldn't recommend it for combination dehydrated or oily skin types. As for the application, it glides on smoothly without feeling greasy, but it does have a sticky texture. After using this for just three days, I experienced a significant outbreak of small blemishes. My cheeks are covered in tiny bumps. I rarely get these kinds of breakouts, but this time it was severe. I've been on a liquid diet due to dental work and have been using only dermatologist-approved skincare products. I haven't worn makeup recently, I change my pillowcase regularly, and I've been doing everything right. My skin had almost completely cleared up except for some scarring, but after using this product, it's worse than before. I tried this product after a YouTuber recommended it for stubborn acne scars. I noticed it had a positive effect on red marks and darkened acne spots compared to using nothing at all. While the progress is gradual, I believe consistent use will yield good results. I'm definitely considering repurchasing! I'm on my fifth bottle now! With consistent use, you can visibly see old acne scars fading. It absorbs well with a refreshing feel, making it perfect to apply before bed or under makeup! I heard Hiruscar gel was effective for this, so I applied it diligently every night with high hopes. The texture is like a transparent, watery gel - a thin jelly-like consistency. It comes in a narrow tube, so I found it convenient to use by dabbing a bit on a cotton swab. The results were better than I expected for me. It had two main benefits: - It helped fade pigmented areas faster than usual. - When applied to areas where blemishes were forming, it prevented them from getting bigger. These two effects alone make it a great advantage for those with blemish-prone skin! The scent is a mix of cool mint and strong herbal notes, which felt a bit overwhelming. When it comes to dealing with blemishes, there are two approaches: treating them as they appear, and caring for them after extraction. My routine: Apply Haruharu when a blemish appears -> It quickly comes to a head -> Apply Haruharu after extraction to prevent infection. I've been following this routine. I'm not a fan of using stickers as they feel suffocating, but this product works well as a protective barrier or infection prevention. However, I didn't notice any dramatic, rapid improvement in reducing blemishes. Being impatient, I tend to check for results the very next day. But after reading other reviews, it seems you need to use it consistently for a month. Patience is essential! Apply two to three layers, allowing each to absorb. Two days after using it... my skin erupted with small blemishes, pustules, and intense redness, forcing me to stop using it immediately and rush to the pharmacy. (The first two photos show the 'before', and the last three show the 'after'). While it applies smoothly, it does feel a bit sticky, and the scent isn't pleasant. After applying it, my boyfriend sniffed it and asked, 'What's this grassy smell?' When I asked if he didn't like it, he admitted it was a bit off-putting. While it may not provide dramatic results, you can notice the discoloration gradually fading over time. The product volume and scent leave a bit to be desired. Although I only applied it before bed and didn't see dramatic results, I noticed my blemishes seemed to calm down faster than I expected. The scent is a cool, forest-like or grassy fragrance. It might be hit or miss for some people. Personally, I think I would have preferred if it were fragrance-free. It's best to apply this before going to bed. Since it's a gel, I felt it might pill if you apply makeup right after. It works well to squeeze out just enough product onto a cotton swab and apply it to the desired areas.
