1. Before applying it to my face, I tested it on the back of my hand. Comparing the treated area to the untreated side, I noticed it slightly covered the visible veins and brightened my complexion to match my skin tone. 2. True to its 'My Foundation' name, I appreciated that you can choose a formula tailored to your specific skin type. 1. The texture seems to be of medium consistency, which is generally fine, but it felt a bit sticky and absorbed rather thickly when applied. 2. Please note that I'm writing this review about a year after using the product, so some details may not be entirely accurate. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2020
Coverage: ●●●● Adherence: ●●● Moisture: ●●● Shade: C21 During the pandemic, I switched from cushion to foundation! After considering many products, I chose this Innisfree My Foundation because it doesn't transfer onto masks and doesn't feel heavy after application! It also doesn't cause blemishes! This is just my personal opinion though! I'd like to try other products or different shades as well! If you're looking for a natural skin finish, I highly recommend testing it directly in-store! Because we're wearing masks, when applying foundation, it's important to use small amounts and layer multiple times rather than applying a lot at once. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2020
It absorbs smoothly and the color is perfect, not too light or heavy. Well, there's nothing particularly bad, but I wouldn't say it's extremely hydrating. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2020
Texture: Wonderfully hydrating, perfect for winter use. Coverage: Offers better coverage compared to other dewy, moisturizing foundations. Perhaps due to its hydrating nature, it tends to settle slightly around the nose. The coverage could be a bit better (though this can be addressed by using shade 1 or 2, or by applying concealer). - se********Combination SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
I stumbled upon this product while browsing at Innisfree, intending to ask the staff some questions, but it was too crowded so I ended up testing various items. Originally, I was interested in the My Cushion, but then I noticed the My Foundation. I tested the matte, semi-matte, and glow versions, but when I tried shade 3.4, I was blown away. I bought it immediately after just one swatch on the back of my hand. I usually prefer glowy products, but often find their coverage lacking. However, this foundation offers decent coverage while still being moisturizing, and I love that you can choose a shade that matches your complexion perfectly. It's not easy to find a product that satisfies moisture level, coverage, shade range, and tone all at once, but Innisfree has done it! While the dedicated brush works well, I personally prefer using a damp beauty sponge for better hydration, application, and radiance. Lightly dabbing the product with a beauty sponge and blending it all over the face gives a lively, soft-focus effect. Layering it twice works great too. The adherence, longevity, and resistance to breakdown were all satisfactory for me. I think applying primer before the foundation also helps. On days when I wear this, I find myself admiring my skin in the mirror, thinking 'My skin looks good today!' It's definitely more satisfying than a cushion foundation. I absolutely love it! I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this product. Even though I use it generously every day, it lasts quite a while. The price is reasonable too. I highly recommend this to anyone who prefers a glowy foundation. Unfortunately, it contains PEG. But ingredients aren't everything, right? Sadly, it doesn't contain physical sunscreen. You absolutely must apply sunscreen before using this foundation. If you want longer-lasting wear, use a brush. For a thin, light, and dewy finish, opt for a beauty sponge. Applying primer before the foundation can help extend its wear time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2020
Long-lasting foundation that stays put Only need to blot oil 3-4 times for it to look flawless even at an overnight trip (Slept without removing makeup, and in the early morning someone asked if I had just applied makeup) Leaves a lot of fingerprints (Even light touches leave marks) Coverage could be better Apply a moderate amount by spreading with fingers, then finish with a puff - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2020
The sales associate recommended this to me in-store, so I used it without much thought. It seems pretty decent. The coverage is good, and since it's a pink-beige shade, I feel like it brightens my complexion. It's a bit pricey for students. Also, the opening gets messy, which looks unsightly. The formula is quite runny, so instead of applying it directly, I end up dotting it on my face, which sometimes leads to accidentally dropping it on the floor. Buy it when it's on sale - kb*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2019
Texture and Application: The moisturizing feel is perfect for this weather, and it applies incredibly smoothly! Coverage: I typically use cushion foundations rather than traditional liquid foundations or BB creams. I use this product to conceal freckles and dark circles before applying my cushion. I just dab it lightly on areas I want to cover, then finish with the cushion. It's been great for supplementing the coverage that my cushion alone couldn't provide. Even though it's a foundation, I've been using it like a concealer. I'm really impressed with its coverage! It's not so much a downside, but... I usually wear shade 13, but I bought shade 21 to share with my sisters. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't give my skin that bright look. (That's why it worked so well as a concealer for me...) My sister who usually wears 21-23 found that even though she normally uses 21, this one looked a bit light because of its pink undertone. It seems important to choose carefully between the Natural and Pink undertones!
