It's gentle and wonderful! With the heater making everything so dry lately, I apply a bit even when I go out. Once I put it on, I don't feel dry at all. When applied, it's not oily, but there's a slightly slick feeling. However, that goes away once it absorbs into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2021
As someone who used to struggle with oil and moisture balance, I've been dealing with enlarged pores and facial dryness due to years of late-night work. Regular moisturizers just weren't cutting it for my deep dryness, so I used to slather on cream like there was no tomorrow. With this product, though, I only need to apply it about twice. It's not bad at all! In fact, it's great! After application, it feels a bit too rich, making my face feel somewhat heavy. If you're like me and your skin is super dehydrated, I'd recommend using this as a base layer and then topping it off with another complementary product for that extra boost of hydration! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2020
As expected from the Pure line... The ingredients are really good. I love that it's fragrance-free too, totally my style. It's packed with hydration, and they say the ingredients are even better than the original Moisture Barrier. Plus, it has Tom and Jerry on it! That's why I remember buying it. The volume is larger too. But now I see they've changed the ingredients of the original moisturizer to be the same. I'm sure that cream used to contain shea butter. That's why I chose this one, since I have acne-prone skin. Besides that, it seems they've really put a lot of thought into the ingredients, living up to the product name. It's rare to find one without stearic acid. The texture is incredibly smooth and it feels wonderfully moisturizing when applied. It's WAY too greasy. I wonder if this is really a skincare product with good ingredients... It's so excessively oily that I question if it's suitable for acne-prone or oily skin types. I had such high hopes because it doesn't contain shea butter. The application felt nice, so I was initially pleased. But when I wake up the next morning after applying just a little bit, my face is seriously oily. I'll use it until spring, but lately, I've been trying to avoid it. It's absolutely forbidden to apply in the morning! I admit it's nicely moisturizing, but that can vary greatly from person to person. I'd recommend it for those with very dry skin (though you'd need to test it yourself to be sure). If you have oily or acne-prone skin, it might be best to use it sparingly in the evenings or only during winter. Using it daily... my skin became so oily it triggered more blemishes. Anyway... the nostalgic Tom and Jerry packaging was really great! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2020
I'm on my 6th bottle and I swear by this product. I can't live without it! It's an absolute must-have for me. As someone with oily skin, I find the rich texture a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2020
Hydration: 4/5 stars Apply a thin layer on dry skin for best results. When applied at night, the moisture lasts until morning. Highly recommended for those with dry skin. Price: 5/5 stars Great value for money. Ingredients: 5/5 stars Gentle ingredients. My skin was rough before, but after using this cream, my skin texture has significantly improved and become much softer. Soothing: 3/5 stars I bought this because it was said to be very soothing. The first night I applied it, it seemed to calm my skin somewhat. However, perhaps I expected too much, as the soothing effect wasn't as impressive as I had hoped. Oiliness: 2/5 stars As someone with an oily T-zone, I'm hesitant to use this. Packaging: 3/5 stars The container is a bit inconvenient. It also seems to attract a lot of dust... It's super cheap if you buy it on Coupang. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2020
My skin is combination dehydrated with oily T-zone, blemishes, and redness. With winter here, my skin feels super dry inside but oily on the surface. I've been struggling with combination dehydrated skin, but I found a solution! First, I used Etude's Soon Jung Cica Balm to soothe my blemishes. After balancing my skin with just the Cica Balm for 1-2 weeks, I've been maintaining it with this moisturizer. My skin was seriously dehydrated before, but now I don't feel any deep dryness at all - it feels amazing! Pros: 1. Gentle (I've never had any irritation from this product. If anything, it's slightly soothing! My whole family uses it, so it's perfect as an all-family item.) 2. Great value (As a student, I pay attention to prices. I got this large size on sale, so it was really affordable! And the effects are great, so I'm thrilled.) 3. Hydrating & rich texture (It's perfect for my skin - no more deep dryness. It's super hydrating and has a rich texture that absorbs well. Especially when I apply it at night, my skin still feels hydrated in the morning, showing how well it absorbs.) Cons: 1. The packaging could be improved (It's a bit inconvenient and maybe not the most hygienic. I wish they'd change it to a squeeze tube format.) 2. Slightly rich (It's fine overall, but since my T-zone tends to get oily, I have to use less product in that area.) I'm currently using this routine: Round Lab Dokdo Toner > Etude Soon Jung Moisturizer > Etude Soon Jung Cica Balm
