The texture is similar to a mud mask that dries and adheres to the skin, but the scrub particles aren't too large, so it didn't feel abrasive when rolling it on. When water is added, it lathers up for cleansing, making it a great all-in-one option for those concerned about pores and dead skin cells. Though it has a charcoal color and mud pack-like texture, I was surprised when the foam turned gray while rinsing it off with water. It washes off easily, but the visible foam can splatter, leading to extra sink cleaning. While I expected my skin to feel softer due to the scrub effect, it actually felt dry and rough, perhaps because it was too drying for me. The scent is somewhat alcoholic, reminiscent of men's toner, which might work well for oily-skinned men but was too drying for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 28, 2019
You can really feel the dead skin cells being removed. After using the product, your face feels noticeably softer to the touch. It's a bit inconvenient that you can't use this scrub while washing your face. Instead, you have to apply it like a mask, let it dry, and then scrub it off. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2019
First off, my skin is acne-prone, oily, with enlarged pores. I've never had an official skin test, but I'm pretty sure that's my skin type. I bought the DTRT all-in-one at Olive Young, and this product came with it. When I tried it, I was genuinely amazed at how it visibly reduced my pores! I was like, 'Wow...!' It's really noticeable how much they shrink. Plus, it works as both a scrub and cleanser in one, so it feels like you're doing a mask and cleansing at the same time. It's convenient and makes me feel good. One thing's for sure - the effects are definitely visible! Hmm... if I had to point out a downside... After using this product and then only applying the emulsion from the all-in-one, my skin feels a bit tight. Is this what they call deep dryness? It's like my skin feels baby-soft on the outside, but there's this tightness underneath. I think it might be better to apply something extra separately. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. - gu********Oily SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2016
It's less irritating than typical scrubs and quite decent. Cleanses thoroughly too. As expected, the price is a bit... and some ingredients leave something to be desired. If you have oily skin, I think it's worth giving it a try at least once.
