While it doesn't have a dramatic effect of making your hair silky smooth like seaweed, it does make it moderately softer and reduces static. I felt like if I used it daily, my hair would gradually improve! I think it would work even better when used with the matching shampoo. If you're used to sweet and fragrant hair products, you might find this peppermint and menthol scent off-putting or unfamiliar. If I had any teenagers going through puberty around me, I'd love to gift them this brand's shampoo and conditioner! With my thick, long hair, I'd turn into Hagrid with all the static if I didn't use one. This conditioner works just as well as my usual treatment, leaving my hair silky smooth. I know there's a difference between conditioners, rinses, and treatments, but this conditioner performed just as well as my usual clinic-specific treatment. It left my hair soft and didn't irritate my sensitive scalp at all! Many people mention the scent, but I don't mind the minty fragrance. It didn't bother me at all while using it! I prefer using generous amounts of treatments and conditioners, but the bottle was a bit difficult to squeeze out the product. For best results, apply to your hair and leave on for about 5 minutes before rinsing.
