I couldn't really feel any effect on my scalp, and it didn't work well as a hair treatment either. My hair became stiff, so I found myself not reaching for it anymore. - hi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresJan 31, 2021
The foam texture is convenient as it doesn't drip when applying to the scalp The scent is off-putting. The ingredients are questionable. Most importantly, after applying it to your hair, it hardens like you've sprayed hairspray all over. I followed the instructions exactly, but I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be. I thought I couldn't use it when going out, but after about five days of use, my scalp reacted badly and I ended up having to see a doctor... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2020
It's convenient since it's a spray-and-dry type like Ampoule. I used the same trial kit set with shampoo, conditioner, and treatment for about two weeks, and I noticed less hair fall. Why doesn't Wella care about fragrance? Most of their products have had intense scents, and this finishing product is no exception - the scent is really off-putting. Granted, the smell fades after drying, and I apply a separate hair oil anyway, so it's not a big issue, but the fragrance is still disappointing. It claims to be a 30-day supply, but even if used sparingly, it'll probably only last about 21 days. The volume seems a bit small. Consistently using the set has been helpful. Don't just spray and leave it - the roots can look flat and matted. After spraying, gently dry your scalp with cool air to ensure it's properly dried. - te*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 30, 2020
Without a shred of exaggeration, I've found my holy grail shampoo. I've already repurchased the large size! Nioxin offers product lines numbered 1 through 6, each targeting different scalp and hair concerns. I used Line 2, which is designed for those already dealing with fine, thinning hair. Let me describe my scalp and hair condition: Up until my teens, I had a dry scalp with some dead skin cells, incredibly thick hair, and lots of volume. However, in my 20s, especially in recent years, my scalp has gradually become oily, leading to hair loss, intense itching, and excessive sebum production. To be honest, I've spent most of my life worrying about having too much hair, so I never paid much attention to hair or scalp care. I focused on products for damaged hair ends rather than those beneficial for the scalp. Recently, I realized the importance of scalp care and, fortunately, had the opportunity to try Nioxin products. It's like a scalp nutrient that you apply to your wet hair and scalp before drying. When I pressed the pump, I was pleasantly surprised to see it dispense as foam. This made it incredibly easy to apply to the scalp without dripping, and it absorbs well - it's truly, truly convenient. The price is a bit steep, so I recommend starting with the shampoo first. If it works well for you, then consider trying their other products. The quantity is a bit small, unfortunately. Also, if you don't dry your hair immediately after applying, it can make your hair feel slightly greasy Make sure to dry your hair right after application - si*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2020
Nioxin 2 is designed for damaged normal hair, aiming to care for healthy and elastic locks. The 3-piece set includes shampoo, conditioner, and treatment. What's really interesting is how you use them: The shampoo is applied as we all know - massage it into your hair for about a minute. But the conditioner can actually be applied to the scalp too! You massage it in and then rinse. The treatment is even more unique - after towel-drying, you apply it mainly to the scalp and throughout the hair, and you don't even need to rinse it out! Isn't that fascinating? I was skeptical at first, thinking 'What's this all about?!' But I followed the instructions for two weeks before writing this review. Using all products with a focus on the scalp, I noticed a significant cooling effect! The scent is reminiscent of toothpaste - not just mint, but that distinct 'Wow, this is totally toothpaste!' smell. The lather was rich and easy to work with. It made the whole hair-washing experience refreshingly cool and invigorating. The idea of applying conditioner to the scalp was surprising. It has a texture similar to regular treatments, and when applied thoroughly, it really softened my hair. The treatment comes in a spray bottle, similar to the Aromatica Rosemary Root Enhancer if you're familiar with it. You spray it mainly on the scalp and let it absorb. After two weeks of use, I noticed less hair fall when brushing and fewer tangles. The cleansing power seems effective too - when I washed my hair in the morning, there was hardly any scalp odor the next day. I'm definitely considering repurchasing! One downside is the small product size. The shampoo and conditioner are only 150ml each, which is much less than the standard 500ml. It's a bit disappointing, but everything else about the products is great!
