Being a milk-type cleanser, it rolls on smoothly and is gentle. Recommended for sensitive skin. While its cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, you might still need to double cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
This is the only product that hasn't caused a reaction on my super sensitive skin. It's gentle and has excellent cleansing effectiveness. While it cleanses well, I feel it doesn't manage sebum production effectively. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinApr 16, 2024
The texture is unique, but not in a bad way. I'm pleased that it doesn't cause any blemishes. The scent might be divisive. As a second cleanser, it's not really my cup of tea. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2024
It seems quite gentle. When applied, the fragrance was pleasantly subtle, and perhaps due to its mildness, I didn't experience any blemishes after use. I tend to wear heavier eye makeup, but this doesn't remove it completely. Unfortunately, I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2024
I really liked how gentle it was with minimal skin irritation. I've been using cleansing milks often lately, and I definitely recommend this one. You absolutely need to double cleanse with this, especially when you've worn makeup. It's disappointing that it doesn't effectively remove sebum. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2023
💖 Not sure about my skin type. Might be sensitive or combination.. One thing's certain: I'm way more dry than oily. T-zone produces little oil compared to U-zone, but has lots of texture issues. 💖 Severe blackheads between brows & on nose, whiteheads around mouth, extremely textured butterfly zone! 💖 Redness & acne scars 💖 Uneven complexion, very dark under-eye circles (1.5cm vertically), 4-5 freckles 💖 Frequent inner cheek dryness 💖 Forehead fine lines & nasolabial folds 💖 Monthly breakouts during period 💖 Overall rough and bumpy skin texture 💖 Lips prone to drying 💖 Body: dry, keratosis pilaris, rough texture 💖 Face tone 27C, body 30C (tanned from 5+ years in US, won't fade even indoors) 1. The fragrance is absolutely divine. It's totally my style. Sweet with a slightly tangy yogurt 'whey' scent! I was worried since it's polarizing, but I adored it. If you like yogurt scents, you'll love this.. I personally am obsessed. 2. Contains LHA or PHA for gentle daily exfoliation, which I appreciate. 3. Despite my sensitive skin, I could use it daily without compromising my skin barrier or causing blemishes. It's very gentle. 4. No deep dryness. Post-cleanse, my skin feels amazing - smooth, hydrated, yet matte on the surface? Like all impurities are washed away, leaving me feeling reborn 💖 Even without applying anything after cleansing, I didn't experience any deep dryness. 1. Cleansing effectiveness is lacking. It didn't fully remove my tone-up primer + sunscreen. Double cleansing or a second cleanser is necessary. I bought it as a first cleanser, so it's fine for me. 2. It's pricey. Other cleansing milks are around $20 for 200ml, but this Bioderma one is this price for just 75ml! (3. This might be just me, but it feels like it's slightly compromising my skin barrier. Though that's probably not the case.) Given the nature of cleansers, you need to massage it in, but since my cheeks easily get irritated and red, those with sensitive skin should avoid the cheek area! Also, using a sponge or damp cotton pad after cleansing milk, followed by rinsing, makes cleansing more thorough, but I felt irritation when using a cotton pad. And when I applied the Some By Mi ampoule afterwards, it felt slightly itchy and tingly. Those who wear makeup should use this as a first cleanser. If you only use mineral sunscreen, this alone is sufficient. We all know cleansing milks are great! Despite being expensive and having weak cleansing power on its own, it effectively removes skin impurities while keeping the skin hydrated, is gentle, has a lovely scent, and feels nice to use, so I plan to repurchase. However, I'm running out tomorrow, so I'll try the Cheonma cleansing milk first. (But I have a feeling I'll settle on Bioderma) Recommended! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2023
This product is incredibly gentle on the skin, with no irritation whatsoever. It feels soft when applied and has a pleasant scent. When using this cleansing milk, I can't shake the feeling that it doesn't remove everything. It seems like I need to double cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 30, 2023
I highly recommend this cleansing milk for dry skin types! After using so many exfoliants and alkaline products on my face, I was a bit worried, so I decided to try this cleansing milk. Its biggest advantage is how gently it cleanses - it's truly remarkable! After washing, your skin doesn't feel tight and dry, but rather moisturized. It's amazing how it leaves your skin feeling hydrated. When you squeeze it out, it comes out like a moisturizer. It's so hydrating that even when you add water, it doesn't foam up much. I was almost wondering if it was actually cleansing! Usually after washing your face, your skin feels squeaky clean, and if you wait a while after drying with a towel, your face can feel really tight - even if you have oily skin! But with this, even without applying emulsion after cleansing, my skin didn't feel tight at all. Since it cleanses without irritation, I think it would be great for those with sensitive skin too. I definitely felt that when removing makeup, even after using oil cleanser followed by this cleansing milk, it didn't seem to clean thoroughly. It didn't give me that super clean feeling, so after using this, I finished up with a foam cleanser. I think this cleansing milk would be better for use when you're not wearing makeup. I don't have any special tips to share. I just hope that those with super sensitive skin will give this a try. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJul 5, 2023
I've been getting blemishes and struggling with removing sebum when using cleansing oils, so I tried a cleansing milk for the first time. While I can't compare it to other cleansing milks, based on my experience: It's incredibly hydrating You can visibly see the impurities on the cotton pad after cleansing Even after rinsing with water and double cleansing, my skin doesn't feel stripped of moisture There's a slight firming effect on the skin...? It leaves skin feeling fresh while maintaining hydration I'm using this cleansing milk with a cleansing device, and I've noticed a significant reduction in sebum and even the occasional pimple has stopped appearing! It really shows how important proper cleansing is. The price is a bit high, and you need to use more product than expected for each use (about the size of a walnut, or two pumps). I was hoping to use it instead of an exfoliating toner to remove blackheads on my nose, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped for sebum removal. It seems to remove surface sebum but doesn't quite reach the deeper layers. I've heard that after massaging it in, you can gently wipe with a damp cotton pad and then rinse with water, eliminating the need for a second cleanse. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 28, 2023
It rolls on smoothly without any irritation! I think it even helped reduce some of those pesky white sebum plugs. It doesn't completely remove everything, so you'll need to follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse. It's great for a second cleanse on days with high pollution, even when you haven't worn makeup.
