It's not overly rich, which is great. I've been using it with a cotton pad not just on my face, but also on my neck and chest area.
ConsWhen applied with fingers, it feels a bit sticky. That's why I've switched to using it with a cotton pad lately.

When applied to the face, it quickly moisturizes, and as the hydration absorbs, there's a slight tightening sensation. The fragrance is subtle, and the finish feels nice.
ConsIf you don't use it with a cotton pad and instead apply it directly with your hands, it can feel a bit sticky.

I used to use SLM Skin and was really satisfied with it, but I heard it's been discontinued. I used it for 4 whole years, so I was pretty disappointed. My skin is super sensitive; even the Dokdo Toner caused my skin to react badly after just two days of use. That's why I rarely switch up my skincare products! But since I trust Banila Co., I decided to give it a shot. I used 3 sample bottles for a week, applying it only in the evening using the 7-skin method. Not only did it not cause any blemishes, but it was also more hydrating than my previous product. The SLM Skin had a runny texture that made it difficult to use with the 7-skin method, and it took so long to absorb that it felt like it was evaporating off my skin. This product, however, has a thinner consistency that's perfect for layering. The scent isn't overpowering - just a subtle rose fragrance that even I, with my sensitivity to fragrances, found comfortable to use. I think it's great for those with sensitive skin or who are particular about scents.
ConsIt leaves a sticky feeling on my hands after application. It's thinner than my previous toner, but feels stickier, which is a bit odd. This isn't really a flaw of this specific product, but I feel like Banila Co. changes their product lineup too quickly. Several products I used to love because they didn't irritate my skin - like the Purity Primer and Let Me Start Mave - have been discontinued. As someone with sensitive skin who can't just use any product, it's really disappointing. The thought of having to go on another adventure to find suitable skincare makes me sad.
TipIt's a perfect combo with the boosting cream! Also works great with other gel-type moisturizers!

It feels like it's balancing both oil and moisture rather than just providing hydration. I also loved the subtle fragrance. I'm prone to blemishes and small bumps, but fortunately, this product didn't cause any issues for my skin. It's a real gem that I was able to use until the very last drop.
ConsWhen applying it with your hands, there's a sticky residue left behind. (You can use cotton pads, but my skin is quite sensitive these days, so I avoid using cotton to prevent irritation and just apply it with my hands.) The most disappointing aspect is that it contains alcohol.
