My skin type is extremely dry. There are many gentle products on the market these days, but I'm not sure if they're actually good for me. Even products with supposedly great ingredients can sometimes irritate my skin. Then I tried a sample of Banila Co's Honey Cream, and wow - the hydration is amazing! The next day, my skin felt plump and smooth. It's truly different from other creams I've used! To be honest, Banila Co isn't particularly famous for their skincare basics, so I was hesitant to purchase. But the ratings don't lie. I immediately bought a full-size, and I've gone through about 3 jars now. You might wonder why a product with seemingly unremarkable ingredients and a higher price point has such good ratings - but you'll understand as soon as you try it. It proves that ingredients aren't everything... Reading other reviews, I noticed many users have been loyal to this cream for years. It's really fantastic, but it's a shame it's not more well-known. Part of me wants it to become popular so more people can enjoy it, but I'm also worried about potential discontinuation if demand increases too much... The price is on the higher side. It's best if you can catch it during a good sale... As someone with extremely dry skin prone to deep dryness, I find it works well to apply a light moisturizer before this honey cream in my skincare routine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2021
It has a smooth, silky application that leaves your skin feeling moisturized with a slightly tacky finish. The scent is a rich honey fragrance, and the hydration is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves the propolis line! There's a slight feeling of it sitting on top of the skin, so it needs ample time to absorb well into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2020
1. Scent I loved the honey fragrance. Those who dislike scented products might find it a bit overwhelming, but I find it deliciously pleasant. 2. Hydration The texture is rich and applies smoothly, making it perfect for dry weather. It's especially great in winter, keeping skin moisturized for about 8 hours. When I wake up the next day, my skin feels silky smooth and looks noticeably improved. I actually prefer this to using a sheet mask. I tried a sample and loved it so much that I bought the full-size with my own money! 1. Scent Not recommended if you dislike honey fragrances. 2. Price If I remember correctly, the regular price is around 30,000 to 40,000 won. It's so expensive that I couldn't bring myself to buy it. Being broke is tough... You can get it at a great price during sales! That's when I snagged mine, and I'm using it happily. They seem to have sales quite often these days. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 3, 2020
The smooth application and sweet, fragrant honey and floral scent are truly delightful! It feels like it coats the skin beautifully, providing excellent hydration. Plus, it offers brightening and anti-aging benefits. The generous 70ml size is ample, making it a versatile multi-cream suitable not just for the face, but also for cuticles, elbows, heels, and even hair! Those with oily skin might find it a bit rich Mix it with your foundation for a real glass glow finish! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2019
This cream has a rich, thick texture. I apply a generous amount before bed for hydration, and judge its effectiveness by how my skin feels during my morning cleanse. It leaves my skin smooth and provides excellent moisture! Even with my sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes. The product is much heavier than expected. Not only is the texture quite rich, but it also feels like it's overloaded with ingredients. This might not suit some people with super sensitive skin, and I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2019
<30s/Combination Dehydrated Oily Skin/Light Sensitivity/Polysaccharide Allergy (betaine, sugarcane extract, beta-glucan, etc.)> • Overall: Excellent hydration and feels comfortable on the skin. 150% repurchase intention. • Application: Thick consistency but spreads smoothly. Great balance of moisture and oil, making it easy to apply. Best applied by gently melting with fingertips and patting onto skin. Love that it contains honey without being sticky. • Hydration: Skin feels instantly soothed upon application. After a bad reaction to a betaine-containing product, I'm now calming my skin with a combination of Hanyul Artemisia Mist and this Mr. Honey Cream. Long-lasting moisture, and the various honey components provide just the right amount of nourishment to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier. Received this as a gift and it's surprisingly good. • Price & Quantity: For a basic skincare product for those in their 30s, it's reasonably priced. The 70ml size is generous compared to typical creams, allowing liberal use. Appreciate the included spatula applicator. • Functionality: It's marketed as a functional product for brightening and wrinkle improvement, but I can't really tell if it's effective for those concerns. • Scent: Initially, the fragrance was overwhelmingly sweet and not particularly appealing. It becomes more tolerable over time as you get used to it. Recommended for those with sensitive skin looking to minimize their skincare routine (skincare diet). I skip toner, serum, and emulsion, using only this product. My routine: Cleansing - Mist (for hydration) - Mr. Honey Cream - A few drops of aromatherapy oil (for oil replenishment). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 8, 2018
I started using this in summer and it's not heavy at all. The next day after applying, my makeup goes on beautifully. I especially have wide pores and texture around my nose, which often makes it difficult for makeup to adhere. But after using this cream and sleeping, when I do my base makeup in the morning, the area around my nose becomes completely smooth. I was surprised to see an overall glow on my face! The price seems a bit steep compared to drugstore products. I have combination skin with dry cheeks and an oily T-zone. Applying this cream only on my cheeks feels not heavy at all, even in summer! I think it would be great to apply all over in winter! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 15, 2018
During that magical time of the month that every woman experiences, my skin went completely haywire. But after using this cream, the change in my complexion was remarkable. Even the texture around my nose became incredibly smooth, which really surprised me. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's truly worth it. I have extremely dry skin, and when I use this cream alone, it feels a bit tight. So I apply a richer cream first, then layer this one on top. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 26, 2017
This is the first cream I've purchased after carefully checking the ingredients, and it fits my skin so perfectly. I tried the sample first and then bought it, and when I apply it and go to sleep, my skin is so smooth, glowy, and the roughness is all soothed the next day! It feels like a sleeping mask!! I have dry skin, so I can't use this alone, but I first apply a gel-type moisturizer to fully hydrate, and then I coat it with this cream. It's known as the 'honey coating cream', and now I understand why - the texture and feel are just amazing. It's a bit sad to know that this silky smooth texture is all from the silicones, but at least it works well for me. And the scent is just heavenly - it's like applying pure honey! I guess that means there are a lot of fragrance ingredients in it as well... Haha, my dog keeps trying to lick it off, which is a bit of a hassle... The added color is also a bit concerning. And lastly, I can't use this during the day! Of course, it does have a bit of a creasing texture when applied, but when I put foundation over it, the darkening effect was shocking - I went from 17-21 shade to 23, my neck looked so much whiter, I was really surprised. So I'll just use this for my night care routine! I only use this as a night care product, not every day - about 3 times a week. It feels so nourishing that I'm worried using it too often might cause breakouts! I use it like a sleeping mask. It's really amazing, but the price is a bit steep... I heard it's being reformulated, so I hope they can lower the price a bit and reduce the fragrance and color. Other than that, the only tip I have is to apply a generous amount before bed, and you'll be amazed by your skin the next morning!!! It's just the perfect product for me, despite the downsides. I'll definitely repurchase 100%. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2017
Applying the moisturizing cream in the morning before makeup often makes the makeup feel heavy and dense. In the winter, I would apply it thinly, leaving my skin feeling dry and flaky. However, the Vanillaco Honey Cream absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth. When I apply it in the evening and sleep, my skin feels a bit dry the next morning. If I apply it generously and sleep, it's fine. When I mix it with a coverage product (for someone who doesn't need a lot of coverage), it gives a radiant and hydrated finish. The product doesn't tend to feel heavy or flaky over time. This is a tip the sales associate recommended when I purchased it, and it works well.
