I have extremely dry and super sensitive skin. During winters like now, even when I slather on moisturizer before makeup, it doesn't seem to absorb well into my skin... (Finding the right cushion for my skin is like trying to catch a star, seriously!) As usual, I came to Banila Co. in search of a cushion that suits my skin, but when the staff suggested I try changing my cream instead, I decided to give it a test. I liked it so much that I ended up buying it. If I apply a generous amount of this cream before bed, it works like an overnight mask. When I use it before makeup, my skin feels incredibly hydrated and the makeup applies beautifully! Especially when I put on makeup after using this, it gives me that Inner Glow effect, making my skin look amazing. The honey scent feels a bit artificial... I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing! (I'm in the 'hate it' camp, unfortunately.) For a drugstore brand, the price is a bit steep. Plus, the ingredients don't seem particularly great considering the cost. It feels a bit heavy on the face when applied. It's great to use the honey cream as an overnight mask! (For those with dry skin, using Banila Co's cleansing balm followed by the honey cream is the perfect combination.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 21, 2017
The cream has a strong, sticky texture that spreads easily from the container and feels pleasant on the skin. After application, it forms a protective layer on the skin and has good staying power. The honey scent is overpowering and quite unpleasant. I understand this is a honey cream, but the strong honey fragrance bothers me every time I apply it, making me hesitant to use the cream. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2017
Deeply moisturizing It gives a sense of satisfaction as if it provides rich and deep nourishment to the skin The container is large, substantial, and eye-catching Truly, on days when I don't feel like going through the hassle of applying products in order, this is a one-step solution! The product was a bit disappointing compared to my expectations 1. Fragrance It is very strong and pungent ㅠ There may be those who enjoy this scent, but I felt a strong aversion to it The honey-like fragrance pierced my nose throughout the application ㅠ This is actually the most disappointing aspect, and it's the reason I don't use it often 2. Thick and sticky ㅠ The texture of this cream is so thick and heavy that it can disturb your sleep if you apply it and go to bed If you can tolerate the heavy, sticky, and greasy presence of this cream, I would recommend the Egyptian Magic Cream, which has a similar price but is 100% natural ingredients 3. Ingredients The ingredients are not bad, but considering the Banila Co brand and this price point, if the product had even more impressive, 'wow' level ingredients, the company's marketing would have been much better, which is just my unsolicited opinion ㅠ Hoarding sheet masks with little to no effect, just to use them up as a 1-a-day routine But this is for evening care For those who dislike the fragrance Mixing it with a cream of your preferred scent (or unscented) can work well ㅡ I personally mix it with the Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Sleeping Pack The honey cream fragrance is so strong that it doesn't seem like it would blend, but the Jeju Lava Seawater is surprisingly a fragrance powerhouse ㅋ - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 25, 2015
Even when I use regular moisturizers, my skin often feels dry and tight, but I barely felt any skin tightness after using this product. The artificial honey scent is way too strong. The packaging is over-the-top - the container is much larger and heavier than the actual product. Using this together with the CC cream is truly a golden glow 👍🏻 - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 13, 2015
It has a rich feeling...it feels like a pack has been applied, but there were no troubles. It's too heavy and the fragrance is also too artificial. Even if it's fine for winter, it's too hot to apply in the summer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 8, 2015
I wrote a sample and I like it. I want to purchase the original product. It applies well in a thin layer and can be used as a night cream when applied thickly. The fragrance is too artificial... It seems to be imitating the scent of artificial honey. I dislike such artificial fragrances in basic skincare products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 3, 2015
It applies well, does not look greasy, and absorbs quickly, which is good. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it seemed incredibly moisturizing... but surprisingly, it makes my face feel tight. Even when I apply more, the tightness remains the same. Also, the lovely honey scent that was pleasant during the test became overwhelming when spread across my entire face (this may be a matter of personal preference). - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 30, 2014
The volume is large and it seems very moisturizing and good. It's the best product for dry skin, but I don't recommend it for oily skin. I feel like oily skin shouldn't use it.... The scent is a bit disappointing... The fragrance is too strong ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅜㅠ
