It absorbs well, leaving the skin moisturized with a nice glow that makes your complexion look healthy. As time passes, it tends to darken. I have sensitive skin and it's causing some blemishes. It's also a bit itchy, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2023
It feels quite moisturizing. The texture is a slightly runny emulsion. When you spread it, it seems to separate into pigment and moisture parts, creating little clumps that eventually settle. The pigment adheres to the skin first, followed by a dewy layer that quickly absorbs. When applied, it seems to slightly brighten the complexion. It gives a pearlescent glow. As time passes, it goes beyond a glow and becomes quite greasy. While it's very hydrating, this later feels oily, and the initially brightened complexion somehow darkens and becomes dull. That's why I rarely reach for it. It's one of those products sitting untouched on my vanity. Also, later in the day after application, I start to feel itchy in some areas. I applied it around 2 PM today, and now (almost 11 PM) before cleansing, I noticed some raised bumps where it's itchy. When I tested it on the back of my hand, there were no issues, but facial skin is different. It's clear that hand tests can't reveal everything about how a product will react on your face. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2023
1. Brightening: If you don't need much coverage, you could probably just apply this and head out. 2. Scent: This might be a drawback for some, but I love fragrances... Those with sensitivities might get headaches though? But it's not a bad smell, just a nice cosmetic scent! 3. It seems to work well under makeup. At least it didn't interfere with my skin's appearance. I can't think of more pros... It looks deliciously pink like strawberry milk...? The packaging is pretty...? Oh dear... 1. Blemishes I've only used super gentle products like the Dokdo line or Sidmool Green Tea Skin, so I didn't realize... I might have more sensitive skin than I thought... After finishing my college entrance exams, I started going out more often. I thought I should start using this daily, so I tried the one I bought last year for the first time today, and immediately got blemishes... Small bumps and itchy, red irritations appeared all over... I'm sad... I took such good care of my skin... Also, while I was out during the day, my eyelids kept itching, and I think this might be the cause. I did my eye makeup as usual too... For reference, I've been using the Too Cool For School Fixing Cover Cushion, and it's been great with no issues. 2. Texture It's thick and gloopy... just not very nice... 3. Scent I liked it, but I think more people might see it as a drawback, so I'm mentioning it here. 4. Oiliness I have oily skin, but it's not extremely oily - I can usually manage with one application of oil blotting paper or No Sebum powder a day. I thought my skin was pretty decent... But after about 4 hours, oil exploded under my mask, and even my bangs fell apart... I was worried when I felt how thick it was... As expected, it's not great for oily skin. Oh... The blemishes... This morning my skin looked so good that I was happily patting on my cushion as I went out... Oil... oil... be careful... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2022
This product is the ultimate champion of hydration. It absorbs beautifully and gives an explosion of moisture to the skin. However, as time passes, it becomes excessively rich and makes my face feel uncomfortable and itchy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2022
It definitely feels like makeup applies better when using this! When applied as the final step in your skincare routine, foundation goes on smoothly. Every time I used it, my skin felt itchy and blemishes appeared. Even though I have a lot left, I stopped using it after about a week. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2022
It's nicely moisturizing and absorbs well for dry skin types. After a while, my whole face feels itchy and heavy. The next day, small blemishes appear. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2022
- Hydrating and makeup-friendly: After applying sunscreen and foundation, it might feel a bit dewy, but it doesn't separate and keeps skin moisturized. It creates a nice base for makeup to adhere to. - Easy to apply: You can apply it with your hands just like an emulsion. It's as comfortable to use as a regular moisturizer. Not suitable for sensitive skin... If left on for too long, it can cause inflammatory blemishes to appear. When applied to already sensitive skin or during a flare-up, it causes a burning sensation and itching around the nose area. I'm planning to switch to a different sunscreen... While I'd recommend this for those without sensitive skin, there are now many products on the market with better absorption and ingredients... So I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to recommend this one. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2022
I loved how it moisturized my skin and provided a natural brightening effect I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin myself, using this made my skin turn red and itchy, leading to a lot of blemishes - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 13, 2022
It brightens up the complexion nicely. I love how it gives a radiant look. The price is great too. I experienced some itching, possibly due to an allergic reaction. I couldn't use it myself, so I passed it on to someone else. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2022
It absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling moisturized without any dryness or clogged pores The strong cosmetic scent becomes noticeable when wearing a mask. Initially, it gives a glowy appearance, but over time, it turns excessively shiny, like an oily film. From the evening of the application day, it causes intense itching and a tingling sensation on the face
