I've been using this product exclusively for over 3 years. It makes my skin look great, covers blemishes well, and best of all, the price point is reasonable, which I love. It doesn't look pretty when it starts to break down in the afternoon, but I suppose that's true for most products. I mixed it with serum when applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 30, 2023
The coverage is excellent and the color is beautiful. It has a slightly matte finish. It applies a bit thick and tends to break down. There's a slightly greasy feeling? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2023
Coverage: Medium to High - Using a pea-sized amount provides medium to high coverage. You can layer it over blemishes for better concealment, but it may feel a bit dry. Stick to one or two layers for optimal results without overdoing it. Application: Above Average - It works best with a brush, giving a smooth finish. However, if you have large pores, they might be more noticeable. Using a puff reduces caking but slightly decreases coverage. Interestingly, even if the color darkens over time, your skin still looks flawless - even after sleeping! Longevity: Medium to Low - As someone with combination skin, I notice it breaks down with sweat and time. The foundation color darkens, making my face look duller than before application. It's frustrating when your makeup looks worse than bare skin. While it applies smoothly without patchiness, it can slide off in oily areas. The skin underneath still looks decent even after sweating or sleeping, but the color change is the biggest drawback. Your face just gets darker! Blemishes: Since it's a high-coverage product and I apply it with a brush, the thick layer can sometimes lead to breakouts. However, it's not overly sensitizing and is generally gentle on the skin. Pro tip: Always carry powder to control oil and brighten the darkened foundation. It helps maintain about 80% of your daytime makeup. If touch-ups aren't possible, you'll have to accept the color darkening. I've used this foundation for over 5 years and I'm used to its quirks. I keep repurchasing because I'd rather stick with what I know than risk wasting money on a new product that might disappoint. It's definitely one of the best in its price range. Despite the color change issue, the overall skin finish is quite nice. That's why I keep coming back to it, even with its flaws. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 7, 2023
⚠️ For seborrheic skin / Shade 22 with deep undertone (+ light undertone), estimated N tone While my body is fair, my face is relatively darker with redness, and I have pores the size of Jeju stone statues ⚠️ Additional notes: Can't use cushion foundations (they look extremely patchy) Prefer a graceful fade throughout the day Focus more on evening skin tone rather than coverage The only liquid foundation I've used: Primera foundation in shade 23 (Quite light for a 23, but it's the only one that met the above criteria) ✅ Effectively covers redness and evens out complexion ✅ Excellent value for money I understand why so many people use this - there's a good reason I've only used it a handful of times so far, so these might be the only praises I can offer for now..? Still, I'm considering repurchasing I bought this looking for a product I could wear under a mask If I buy it again, I'll probably go for the 'glow' version (for that beautiful fade throughout the day) ❌ Clings around the sides of the nose, doesn't adhere well to problem areas - Avoid applying too much on the bridge of the nose - Need to pat it in well Haven't tried with a damp sponge (doesn't suit me) so can't comment on that ❌ The way it fades isn't particularly beautiful. Just average ❌ Difficult to apply thinly and doesn't offer great coverage - That's why I bought a spatula ❌ Sets quickly, so you need to apply it fast Recommended for oily skin Suitable for those who use a separate concealer or don't need high coverage Ideal for people who don't wear makeup often and are looking for a cost-effective product - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 9, 2022
- Great coverage! - Feels moisturizing when applied, but dries to a matte finish - Generous amount of product - Easy to apply - Transfers easily onto masks due to its moisturizing formula - Longevity is an issue - Doesn't hold up well throughout the day - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 12, 2022
Skin type: 19 shade, Summer Cool Mute, very dry, hormonal blemishes I bought this after seeing rave reviews from YouTubers and its high Hwahae ranking. While it ultimately wasn't the best match for me, I used it for quite a long time (over a year!). Coverage: In my opinion, the coverage was decent. It didn't fully conceal large blemishes, but it did a good job hiding minor acne scars. Texture: I used to have oily skin until a few years ago, and even though I'm now dry-skinned, I still prefer a matte finish. That's why I chose this product. The finish is matte yet gives a glow, and it adheres well when patted with a mist-dampened puff. Color: It has a grayish, yellow undertone. The shade was too dark for me, but that's partly my fault for not knowing my skin tone well (I just assumed I'd be 21 like many others). Oxidation: This is the critical flaw. It noticeably darkens over time. Emphasizes dead skin cells, breaks down: It doesn't break down gracefully and emphasizes flaky skin (even with good skincare). Might work better for those with oily skin. Packaging: It leaks... even after wiping... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2022
The coverage is fantastic! It works perfectly for my complexion, which is a 21 shade. It really emphasizes dead skin cells and the staying power is terrible. It breaks down quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2022
The complexion looks incredibly natural, not washed out at all. It's a perfect match for my skin tone - I couldn't ask for better. With a good base, it provides excellent coverage while giving a subtle glow. When it breaks down, it gets messy around the sides of the nose. Even with a thin application, it settles into fine lines around the eyes and nasolabial folds. For best results, apply a very thin layer (on forehead, around eyes, and mouth area). Then, use concealer only on blemishes. This gives a lightweight feel with good coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 5, 2022
The staying power was excellent when not wearing a mask. It sets quickly and has a matte finish, making it perfect for summer use. I've gone through more than 4 bottles already. While it doesn't break down in an unattractive way, it's disappointing that when you put on and take off a mask, it leaves unsightly smudges. Applying a thin layer with a brush gives a more beautiful finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2022
A product I absolutely adored using from 2017 to 2018. Back then, its staying power was unmatched, it didn't cause any blemishes, and the way it 'melted' into my skin was incredibly beautiful. Interestingly, it looked even more stunning after it had blended with my skin's natural oils, compared to when first applied. Unfortunately, the color range is quite limited. At some point, it seems the formula might have changed. The longevity has significantly decreased, and the way it wears off is no longer as flattering.
