It has a semi-matte finish with excellent coverage. A little goes a long way, allowing you to spread it over a large area. I've been using it for over 5 years and haven't found any downsides yet. However, if you have very dry skin, you might prefer the glow version. Those with extremely dry skin might find it less hydrating than they'd like. - ti*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2024
First off, I love how the foundation color is almost identical to my skin tone, allowing for a natural-looking coverage. Initially, it feels a bit brightening, but as time passes, it settles into a perfect match with my complexion. It's a stable coverage product, making it great for those concerned about pores, redness, or blemishes. While using this, I rarely needed touch-ups, not only because of its excellent staying power but also because it doesn't darken throughout the day. Even when my skin gets oily, it doesn't break down in an unsightly way, so I could just go about my day without worry. Personally, I think this product works in great synergy with oily skin types. The product's performance varies depending on your skin condition. Some days it applies beautifully, while other days it can look patchy, especially around the nose area. It's not particularly effective at concealing acne. The bottle design makes touch-ups inconvenient, and the cap tends to get messy. Most importantly, it can cause irritation. That's really disappointing because I'd like to repurchase, but it makes my skin itchy and causes blemishes... If they changed the ingredients, I'd be willing to buy it again. You can achieve a smooth, non-patchy application by using a damp sponge and gently patting it on. Instead of flat round puffs, it's better to use thicker applicators like egg-shaped sponges or the old-style coated puffs from certain brands. - se********Normal SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 1, 2024
The foundation had great adherence and lasting power. I was really satisfied with the pretty ivory shade and used up the whole bottle. I'm thinking of buying a new foundation, but I might just stick with this one for a safe choice. There weren't any particular drawbacks. If I had to say something, maybe the packaging could be a bit prettier? That's about it. - ek*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 9, 2024
The adherence is truly excellent. It's probably the thinnest and cleanest-applying foundation I've ever used. Above all, it applies with a firm, skin-hugging finish. One application is sufficient for thorough, adherent coverage, which is fantastic. For more coverage, layering thin coats works effectively. It balances glow and matte finishes. Depending on the puff used, you can achieve either a glowing or matte skin look. However, the foundation's fluid texture leans more towards a glowy finish. For a matte look, use a regular puff and powder. For a glowy finish, a damp puff will enhance the radiant effect. It showcases a natural complexion. If you know your skin tone well, it's better to choose a shade that matches exactly rather than going one shade lighter. I occasionally get redness, so I highly recommend this foundation for those with redness issues. It excellently covers redness and can even conceal minor blemishes. It wears beautifully over time. One reason I love this foundation is how it gracefully settles into the skin, giving a luminous effect as time passes. This may vary individually, but in my case, without touch-ups, it wore beautifully for about 15 hours before showing signs of breaking up. The value for money is exceptional. It's rare to find a foundation with this quality of adherence and coverage, plus a generous amount, for under 20,000 won. It could be a great starting point for those new to foundation. It doesn't cover larger blemishes. While it effectively conceals small blemishes and pores, it might not be sufficient for larger areas like cystic acne. In such cases, using a concealer alongside the foundation would be more effective. It contains some potentially harmful ingredients. It's challenging to find cosmetics with only beneficial ingredients. This foundation does contain some potentially harmful components, though it seems efforts were made to minimize skin irritation. Those with sensitive skin should take note of this. There is some transfer. It's not severe, but be aware that it may stick to hair or leave slight marks on hands. However, this issue can be mostly resolved by setting with powder all over. Of course, as time passes and the powder effect fades, you might notice your skin becoming more luminous, which could necessitate touch-ups due to transfer. Using a beauty blender is a great tip. Rather than a flat puff or brush, using a beauty blender can help you achieve a truly beautiful skin finish. Since the foundation has a fluid texture that applies thinly, using a brush can result in even thinner application and reduced coverage. It's best to apply an overall layer with a beauty blender, then add an extra layer on areas needing more coverage. - ma********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 31, 2024
1. Even when it fades, it does so naturally without looking patchy. 2. Great adherence and decent coverage. 3. Doesn't feel heavy and applies smoothly. Creates a beautifully flawless complexion. Haven't used anything else since I found this! It's a little bit yellow-toned... So I mix it with v201, and that's perfect! If you have dry skin, it should work well if you apply plenty of moisturizing skincare beforehand...! I have dry skin, but because I'm so diligent with hydration, it wasn't drying at all and felt just right. (+) I noticed they released a renewed version with Madecassoside (Centella Asiatica extract) added...sigh. Centella tends to cause blemishes for me...why did they make that choice? Please don't discontinue this version of the foundation, I'm begging you! I've finally found my holy grail, I don't want to become a beauty nomad again! - ji******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 14, 2024
This is my holy grail foundation... Even when it fades, it looks beautiful. The application is superb and the coverage is excellent. It has a rich feel, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, but it's perfect for combination or dry skin types. While it's my holy grail foundation, I'm giving it 2 stars because... Using this alone causes tiny bumps and blemishes to start appearing. Even deep, rarely-seen pimples occasionally surface. If only my skin were less sensitive... It's such a shame. The application and coverage of this product are so good that there aren't really any special tips needed. It's not completely matte, so even makeup beginners can achieve a nice finish by gently patting it on with a puff. - sj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 14, 2024
It has a slight yellow undertone. It blends naturally with my skin. The coverage is good, and it doesn't break down significantly over time, so you can skip touch-ups. It's slightly matte, so it might not suit those with dry skin. - yo********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsMay 19, 2024
It's nice that it's cheap on Coupang, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy it again. I have dry skin, and after applying, it leaves a white cast and flakes off. If you have extremely dry skin, it's probably better not to use it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 29, 2024
I'm in my 30s with oily, redness-prone skin. I switched from Double Wear to this product quite a while ago, and I'm still using it with satisfaction. The downside is that it doesn't last long in summer. It doesn't seem to be very resistant to water and oil. - ph*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2024
It applies thinly and has a matte finish, making it perfect for oily skin. Even after hours of wear, it doesn't break down much, which is especially great for summer. It might look a bit dry, but if you prep your skin well with hydrating products, it's totally fine. For the price, it's a good product with no real downsides. However, the glass packaging with a narrow opening makes it difficult to use up every last bit. I've heard that cosmetic glass isn't recyclable, so disposing of it is a bit of a dilemma. It would be great if they could improve this aspect.
