The application, longevity, and resistance to breakdown are all above average! It's a foundation that's really easy to apply. There might be a slight darkening effect... But it's hard to find any major drawbacks with this foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 2, 2020
The coverage is excellent. I love that it comes in lighter shades! I notice a bit of darkening... You can feel it as you use it over time. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 27, 2020
Excellent coverage, adherence, and application. This foundation has been my go-to for two years straight. The downside is the darkening... it's really the worst. Even though I use shade 103, my face ends up looking orange later on. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2020
I have skin that's between shade 21 and 17 on the lighter side! Coverage: It's pretty good! While you might need a dab of concealer for big blemishes or dark circles, it covers most imperfections nicely. Longevity: Rather than having exceptional staying power, it seems to wear off gracefully. Unlike some foundations that settle into creases around the nose over time, this one doesn't. If only the darkening issue could be improved, it would be perfect... Finish: This product has a semi-matte finish! I think it could work for both oily and dry skin types. It feels powdery, giving you that freshly-powdered look. Darkening... I usually use yellow-based foundations, but this one seems more pink-based... After 4-5 hours, my pores become slightly more noticeable and my skin looks noticeably darker. Apart from this, I don't have any other complaints. This foundation looks prettier when applied in thin, multiple layers. For those with dry skin, I recommend lightly misting your puff before application for better results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 6, 2020
As a first-time foundation user, I can't really compare it to others, but I think it was pretty decent in its own right. For shade 13, it's quite dark. I felt there wasn't much difference from shade 21. I wish it was a bit lighter. There's also some darkening. By evening, I'm shocked to find my skin looks whiter without it... And depending on your skin type, the foundation ends up just sitting on top of your skin. It might work well if you mix it with other hydrating products. If you're not careful with the amount, your face might look a bit cakey. I use it with the W.Lab makeup base in Sapphire, and together they adhere well to the skin and seem to work great. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2020
It's a real bang for your buck... Great quality at an affordable price The darkening effect is quite intense, and the color is darker than expected... It feels more like shade 19 - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2020
It provides good coverage and leaves a matte finish, making it suitable for use without powder in dry weather like we're having now However, as time passes, it tends to turn ashy and separate. After a few hours of wear, you'll notice the color changing - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinNov 9, 2019
I tried this product because of the positive reviews, and I'd say it's a solid choice for those buying foundation for the first time. It's a safe recommendation, especially considering its affordable price point from a road shop brand. Unfortunately, the way it breaks down on the skin isn't pretty at all, and the darkening effect was way too intense. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 11, 2019
Skin Type: - T-zone gets oily even in winter, while U-zone is combination dehydrated skin, becoming slightly dry in winter. - Not sensitive, so rarely get blemishes from using any product. - Usually keep skincare simple with just toner and moisturizer. - Skin tone between 17-21, generally yellow-toned but prone to redness when hot or cold. Usage Review: • Duration: About 3 months • Application: Finishes semi-matte but feels moisturizing when applying! If your skin isn't dry and has minimal dead skin cells, you could even apply this right after toner. • Coverage: I didn't find the coverage particularly impressive, but that might be because I apply it thinly. I don't usually focus much on coverage, so it's not bad for me! • Adherence: It adheres well when applied with a puff! Oddly, it doesn't seem to work well with my brushes and tends to separate. But when applied with a puff, it sticks perfectly to the skin! • Color: The shade is on the lighter side, and I like that it's neither too red nor too yellow! It seems slightly darker than Clio's 02 Lingerie shade. • Longevity: I usually just do a simple routine of [toner-moisturizer-foundation], and maybe because my T-zone gets oily quickly, there's some darkening. However, it doesn't crease or break apart as time passes, it just seems to fade. So it might be fine for those who have a solid base routine or don't have very oily skin, and it could actually be an advantage for those who touch up their makeup throughout the day! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 22, 2019
For a drugstore foundation, this one's surprisingly good. It goes on with a nice matte finish, making it perfect for summer wear. I have shade 13 skin, but the color isn't as light as I expected. When it oxidizes, it turns quite dark on me.
