I loved how bright the color was. When first applied, it made my skin look flawless. The coverage seems to be medium to high. It caked up a lot on my skin. I have blemish-prone skin, and it accentuated those areas even more. The transfer and breakdown were disappointing. It might be better suited for summer use. Even with my oily skin, I found it a bit drying in winter. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2022
The semi-matte finish is perfect for mask-wearing times and it sets quickly. The shade is on the lighter side. For my dry skin, it feels a bit drying and tends to settle into lines.. It's slightly better when applied in a thin layer, but still not ideal. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 3, 2022
While it didn't suit my skin, my friend with very oily skin said it worked quite well for her. It seems to be highly dependent on skin type. Even though I layered my skincare thoroughly, it still felt dry and heavy on me. The color was darker than I expected, so I mixed it with a brightening moisturizer. It was drying. I bought it because it was supposed to be a matte foundation without the dryness, but it looked heavy and didn't give me a good skin finish. I won't be repurchasing. If you mix it with a hydrating brightening moisturizer, apply it with your hands, and then pat it in with a puff at the end, even those with dry skin can make it work well! (However, it still felt heavy as time passed.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 28, 2021
Great coverage and decent staying power! I also loved how the colors turned out! It felt a bit dry when I applied it thickly, at least for me! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 11, 2021
This affordable foundation offers great value for money. It doesn't break down easily and isn't too oily, making it perfect for summer use. It gives a radiant look, especially for cool-toned skin. If you don't moisturize well beforehand, it can crack and feel a bit dry. However, even when it starts to wear off, the color still looks decent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2021
I like that the color isn't too light, which was a pleasant surprise. Also, when I've used other foundations or cushions, my sensitive skin would always break out with a couple of blemishes, but that doesn't happen with this one, which I really appreciate. I was disappointed that it was drier than I expected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 11, 2020
I usually find shade 21 too dark, so I tried shade 13 and was pleased with how it nicely brightened my complexion. The new slim-fit formula feels like it adheres to the skin better than before. I love its excellent coverage, and even when it fades, it does so beautifully. I was surprised that even in summer, when it broke down due to sweat and oil, it left a pretty, glowy finish. Given its high coverage, it can feel a bit thick when applied. However, considering the level of coverage, this is quite acceptable! Since it's matte, those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. Being a lighter shade, I sometimes use it as a highlighter on the bridge of my nose or under my eyes. It's a technique I often use to create a natural contouring effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2020
First, my skin type is combination with a slightly oily T-zone and dry elsewhere. I have a fair complexion, so I use shade 13. I started with Etude House foundation as a beginner, but it didn't suit me. My sister recommended this one, and I've been using it for about 2 years now because it works well for me. Color >> This was the aspect I paid most attention to. At the time, most Korean foundations looked too dark on me, but this one wasn't as bad. It's maybe half a shade darker than my skin, but it makes me look radiant when applied, so I found it acceptable. It does have a slight yellow undertone on me. Coverage >> I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. It hides freckles and blemishes well, but acne scars and moles are still faintly visible. Longevity & Settling >> To be honest, I'm not sure about how well it lasts. I haven't really touched up my makeup after applying this. It does settle into the nose area a bit, but not to a bothersome degree. Dryness >> Perhaps because most of my skin is dry, a facial mist was essential during seasonal changes. Even in summer, it occasionally felt dry after some time. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJul 25, 2020
The best thing about this foundation is its staying power! On my combination skin, it lasted about 5 hours without touch-ups, with only a slight rich feeling. What I really appreciated was how it didn't break down messily. Many foundations tend to get patchy or cake up due to excess oil, but this one held up much better. As someone who prefers lighter shades, I found it gave me a natural brightening effect that I really enjoyed using. Touch-ups can be tricky with this foundation. It's a common issue with matte formulas, but when you try to layer it for touch-ups, it tends to sit on top of the skin rather than blend seamlessly. There's also a bit of deep dryness to watch out for. As someone with super sensitive skin, I found it could look patchy in winter, so it's better suited for summer use. Lastly, if you're not careful with the amount you apply, it can look quite heavy and obvious - not ideal if you prefer a natural complexion like I do. I'd recommend using a damp beauty sponge or misting your face to help apply this foundation more evenly. Also, The Face Shop has a clear primer that works wonders with this - use them together for even longer-lasting wear! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2020
I'm really pleased with how the color applies, giving my complexion a noticeably brighter look. I'm not sure if it's the ingredients, but I'm getting a lot of blemishes and pimples, and my skin feels dry.
