  Pros

  As someone with chronically chapped lips, my lip condition was terrible recently. No matter what I applied, my lips would crack, and products would only cling to the dead skin cells, creating an unsightly mess. Most lip balms' hydrating effects disappeared quickly. While I have a lip sleeping essence at home, it's inconvenient to carry and apply frequently at work due to its jar packaging. That's when this product caught my eye! Although it's meant for the face, it has a honey scent and feels like a moisturizing lip essence, so I tried it on my lips too! Oh my! Not only do my lips get chapped, but the corners of my mouth also crack and peel terribly. However, when I apply this product generously and frequently, it provides excellent hydration since it's an essence stick for the skin. It even gives my lips a nice glow! Layering a moisturizing lip product on top creates an even more dewy shine! Of course, the lasting power isn't perfect, but this product saved me when my lips were a mess due to flaking in winter, no matter what I applied!

  Cons

  I've used both the original version and the renewed version, and although they say the hydration has improved after the renewal, I couldn't really tell the difference in moisturizing power. Well, the cap became stiffer after the renewal, making it a bit inconvenient to open. Also, since I use it mainly as a lip balm, it's quite large for a lip product. It feels a bit rich to use on the face during this season. Another downside is that there are hygiene concerns when using it on the face. Lastly, it feels a bit pricey, especially since I go through lip balms quickly.

  Tip

  If you apply this essence stick over a long-lasting tint or bold lip color, blending it gently, you can achieve a super moisturized lip look! For those like me who struggle with flaking and cracking no matter what you apply (especially in winter), I used this in combination with Punch Pop! It's amazing!

  Pros

  As someone with extremely dry skin, even when I finish my makeup routine with a rich cream, my makeup would flake off in cold winds. This product is perfect for touch-ups in those situations! Unlike mists that can make my skin even drier in winter, this stick is a game-changer. When I'm tired, I can just quickly apply some toner and use this stick all over my face for sufficient hydration. It's great for skincare too. I absolutely love it!

  Cons

  The only downside is that the texture is a bit thick, which can feel heavy on the skin.

  Tip

  It's also convenient and effective to use as an eye cream substitute around the eyes and mouth area.

  Pros

  The only good thing about it is the honey scent... It's really not great, to be honest.

  Cons

  It causes blemishes, unfortunately. I have combination dehydrated sensitive skin, and whether it's because of the sticky texture or not, I broke out in tiny bumps all over. Maybe it would have been better if I'd bought the cream version, but this one is so thick it feels like it's clogging my pores. It really didn't suit my skin at all.

  Tip

  I wouldn't recommend this for those with acne-prone skin or anyone who feels like they might break out from heavy cosmetics like I do.
