  Pros

  The sweet honey scent is absolutely delightful! The hydration power seems pretty decent too.

  Cons

  Given it's a stick format, you have to apply it directly to your face, which doesn't seem very hygienic for a skincare product. When I cover my entire face with it, it feels a bit heavy, so I don't find myself reaching for it often.

  Pros

  This is seriously a holy grail product! I can work right under a heater without any worries. (I used to be concerned about wrinkles due to my overall dry skin, but now I don't worry at all.) I tend to have dry skin, so makeup usually flakes and emphasizes dead skin cells over time. However, if I apply this after skincare and before makeup, especially around the cheeks, eyes, and mouth, it feels like it provides powerful hydration and prevents dryness even as time passes. Particularly when touching up, if I apply this all over and pat it in with my hands, it seems to refine my skin. If I then apply coverage, my skin becomes incredibly glowy and looks moisturized for a long time. It's absolutely amazing!

  If you apply too much too frequently, it can feel a bit heavy.

  Tip

  Since the eye and mouth areas are prone to drying out easily, apply small amounts frequently to prevent wrinkles. When touching up, gently massage in the direction of your skin texture, then pat it in with your hands. This will make your skin feel like you've just washed your face and applied a moisturizer. It even helps smooth out dead skin cells to some extent. It's that refreshing feeling of sloughing off old skin - totally great! Then go ahead and apply your coverage.

  Pros

  I tested it in-store and thought it would be perfect for winter, so I decided to buy it!

  Cons

  The downside is... I have combination skin that leans more towards oily, and when I applied the essence stick on top, it felt a bit heavy...

  Tip

  When touching up makeup and your skin feels dry and patchy, try applying this and then using a puff to blend! It gives your makeup a more dewy finish... Though it doesn't completely fix the patchiness (which might just be my skin's fault), it should work well for those with dry skin!
