Love the generous size!
ConsThe thick, gooey texture was way too sticky for my liking. Not a fan, unfortunately.

As a vitamin C serum, it seems like it could also help with skin elasticity. It's a great vitamin C serum to use on its own, as it contains both pure vitamin C and vitamin derivatives, yet causes almost no irritation.
ConsThe texture might be a bit too thick and sticky for those with oily skin. While using retinol has shifted my combination-oily skin towards the drier side, making this serum not bad for me to use, I still found it a bit heavy, which was somewhat disappointing.

ConsThis is my first time trying a Vitamin C serum, and I noticed it leaves a slightly tacky feeling after application.

I really enjoy the refreshing citrusy scent, reminiscent of oranges and tangerines. Plus, I've noticed it provides much better hydration than the ampoule I was using before!
ConsThe texture is a bit thick, so when I use the dropper, the product comes up slowly. If this issue could be resolved, I think it would be perfect.

My skin type is oily with dehydration. The product has an oil-like ampoule texture and is quite rich. While I can't see the effects yet, the ingredients are great, so I'll keep using it for wrinkle-free, bright skin.
ConsThe oil-like ampoule texture and rich consistency felt a bit heavy and suffocating for my oily skin.
TipSince vitamin products shouldn't be exposed to sunlight, I only applied it at night.

A friend with dry skin absolutely loved it. I have oily skin, so I couldn't use it long enough to see the full effects. I'll have to try it again in winter.
ConsI had such high hopes for this product, but as expected, even Missha's vitamin ampoule feels heavy and oily on my skin. And it was summertime too! I ordered it as soon as it was released, and it had this really sticky, clingy feeling. It felt like over-nourishment for my skin. I was so put off by how it felt that I gave up after using it about 5 times, before I could even see any brightening effects. It's way too rich for summer use. I was puzzled why a vitamin ampoule would feel so oily, but then I tried Innisfree's vitamin ampoule and it was similarly oily. (Though Missha's is even stickier and leaves a more oily residue on the skin.) I wonder if adding firming ingredients to vitamin products causes this? Interestingly, a friend who bought this ampoule after me absolutely raved about it and highly recommended it to me. When I asked, I found out she has dry skin. I thought it might work for me since I have combination dehydrated skin, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing product for me.

Upon opening, a delightfully fresh, intense citrusy orange scent wafted out, enhancing my confidence in the product - it felt like 100% pure essence! Testing the deep yellow ampoule on my hand first, I was surprised by how yellow it made my skin look. However, when applied to my face, the initial sticky sensation quickly transformed into a deeply hydrating experience. After absorption, my complexion became radiant and smooth. I'm extremely satisfied, feeling like I'm using a more potent 100% vitamin C concentrate compared to other high-end products.
ConsThere weren't really any downsides. The only slight concern was the initial texture when first applying the product - it felt a bit thick and sticky. I briefly worried it might feel uncomfortable or cause my makeup to pill, but those concerns quickly vanished. It absorbed beautifully, leaving my skin incredibly hydrated.
TipFor those familiar with vitamin products, it's best to use them generously at night rather than during the day. Since this is a 99% vitamin ampoule, you can add a drop or two to your regular sheet mask for an extra boost. Personally, I like to put a couple of drops on a toner pad and leave it on my cheeks and forehead for about 10 minutes. I've noticed it really brightens my skin and even helps fade dark spots!
