I've been consistently using this vitamin ampoule for 4 years now! My skin tends to tan easily in the sun, so I'm always on the lookout for brightening moisturizers, whitening products, and sunscreens. Among all the ampoules I've tried, this one has shown the most noticeable results. For reference, I have combination skin - oily T-zone and dry forehead, cheeks, philtrum, and chin. I exfoliate with a peeling gel once a week and use a hydrating toner in the morning and a gentle exfoliating toner in the evening. Important: Since this product contains vitamin C, don't apply it in the morning! Use it before bed at night. The scent is a fresh lemon fragrance, which shouldn't be too polarizing. However, if you're not a fan of the typical vitamin smell, you might not enjoy it. I usually apply this once or twice a week after double layering my toner. Missha really does make some great ampoules! When I wake up, my skin looks slightly brighter. It seems to help with dark circles too! I even apply it on my neck and hands. Most importantly, let's talk about blemishes! Despite being an active ampoule, it doesn't cause breakouts. That's why I've settled on this as my go-to vitamin ampoule. Facial blemishes can be painful, annoying, and frustrating. I've never experienced any issues while using this product! I first discovered this through their face masks, but those are quite expensive. The masks definitely show better results... The texture is slippery when applied, so if you prefer watery formulas, you might not like this. It's a bit slick and oily. I'm not a fan of the texture, but I still use it... It can feel a bit sticky! If I apply this ampoule, then layer on a thick moisturizer and finish with an oil spray before bed, my skin looks amazing the next day. I love how visibly brighter my complexion becomes! - fp********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJun 30, 2025
When applied, it makes the skin feel firm and supple. Using it before makeup helps the foundation adhere better. After using this, I developed blemishes on my face. I know it might work differently for everyone, but it makes my skin itchy. I've been applying it to my neck, and now my neck feels itchy too. The product seems to have different effects on different skin types. While some find it beneficial for makeup application, others experience skin irritation and itchiness. It's important to patch test and be cautious if you have sensitive skin. - ja*****Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2025
I decided to try this Vitamin C serum as my first foray into the world of serums, since I heard good things about it. It's gentle on the skin with minimal irritation and has a refreshingly zesty scent. My skin feels brighter and more resilient! I didn't experience any blemishes from using it. The high concentration leaves a sticky feeling on the skin. It might be too heavy to apply in the morning. - mi*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 21, 2025
It brightens up your complexion. The moisturizer absorbs well. Great for daily use. Occasionally, there's a tingling sensation on the face, possibly due to the vitamin ingredients. - l_*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2025
This Vitamin C ampoule is surprisingly gentle, with almost no tingling sensation, and absorbs quickly! It maintains a great oil and moisture balance, leaving your skin feeling hydrated. It's not particularly effective at improving blemishes. However, it's a decent ampoule for consistent, long-term use of Vitamin C. For best results, apply your toner, then this Vitamin C ampoule. Allow ample time for it to absorb before layering your moisturizer on top. - le*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 5, 2025
After using it for about a month, my skin feels plump and nourished. The scent is a bit off-putting, so I mix it with a hydrating essence to apply it. - be********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 3, 2025
The formula has a thin, fluid consistency that feels light and quickly absorbs into the skin when applied with the dropper. I especially recommend this for those who dislike sticky or heavy serums. It has a subtle, refreshing vitamin scent that instantly lifts your mood. I didn't experience any particular irritation, and there was no tingling sensation at all. It didn't cause any new blemishes, nor did it aggravate existing ones. While it may not have had a significant impact on blemishes, I appreciated that it's a stable product that can be used consistently as part of a comfortable skincare routine. This serum contains brightening ingredients, which helped improve my complexion quite a bit. I used it in combination with a niacinamide serum, and perhaps because of that, I noticed my skin tone becoming brighter and acne scars and dark spots gradually fading. It's a great value-for-money starter product for those concerned about dull skin or acne marks. - ji*******Dehydrated SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2025
The texture is smooth and flows nicely. It has a pleasant yellow tint, which is nice. The fragrance is refreshing and not off-putting at all. In winter, I use it as part of my evening routine: after toner, I apply this along with a pore-refining serum, followed by a hydrating cream before bed. While I can't speak to its brightening effects yet, I'm currently using it post-laser treatment when my skin is quite sensitive, and it doesn't cause any tingling, so I'm enjoying it. I had high hopes for its brightening effects, but I haven't seen significant results in that area. However, it has been effective in reducing redness and evening out my complexion. For best results, try applying a generous amount in two layers before going to sleep. - lg*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 30, 2025
This is my first venture into vitamin skincare! I bought this after researching vitamin C products for my blemish-prone skin. And I'm absolutely thrilled with it! So far, I haven't found any downsides. That's why I recommend it even more. If you layer it on, it seems to double the effectiveness. - mo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 27, 2025
First off, it's great value for money and I really appreciated that it didn't irritate my skin. It's hard to expect any noticeable results, and there was a slight sticky feeling.
