I can't really tell the big difference between collagen eye patches, hydrogel eye patches, and such... I've tried SNP's and the brand my mom uses, but what seems most important is how much essence they're soaked in, how well they adhere, and how well they fit my eye shape. When I searched for eye patches online, Petitfee came up a lot, so I bought the Black Pearl ones, which were quite affordable. In conclusion, these aren't bad at all. They stick well to the eye area, so I used them in the morning before cleansing on days when my dark circles were particularly noticeable. There weren't any major downsides, but compared to SNP products, the container didn't have as much essence for the eye patches! I put them on in the morning before washing up and having breakfast. I walk around with them on and then take them off before cleansing. It feels like I'm nourishing my eye area and starting the day right! - fn********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 3, 2021
It leaves my skin hydrated and reduces puffiness. I feel like a chic foreign lady! The essence is generously applied too. I'm not sure if it's a cooling or warming sensation, but after using this, my face feels a bit heated... It burns slightly and even makes me feel feverish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 23, 2020
I have pretty severe dark circles, so I always apply concealer. But after a while, the area under my eyes would get dry, causing the concealer to crease and cake. I bought this product with high hopes after reading some decent reviews, and it does provide hydration! While wearing it feels a bit stuffy, it's definitely more moisturizing than not using it, and my makeup creases less! Plus, it stays put even when I move around - it really sticks on there. The effects aren't dramatic. When you open the lid, there's a protective plastic layer in the middle. I threw it away because it was inconvenient, but now the patches inside are gradually drying out... After cleansing, apply a light emulsion and then stick these on your eyes. As you wear them, they gradually become thinner - that's when you should peel them off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2020
I've tried various types in the 1+1 deal, but the Black Pearl is the most effective. It works wonders on under-eye puffiness too. When my mom used it consistently, I saw her after just 3 weeks and was convinced she'd had Botox or a facelift - the results in the nasolabial area were that impressive. I use one patch under each eye and one on each nasolabial fold, so four patches at a time. Even with my super sensitive skin, there's no tingling sensation at all. I apply them over my skincare routine and leave them on overnight! I also put them on my nasolabial folds, but using them daily means they run out quickly. I wish they'd come out with a sleeping pack or larger patches with the same ingredients. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 16, 2020
The adhesion was great and it was easy to apply lightly. I love that they're single-use sheets you can peel off individually. It stung a bit. I'm not particularly sensitive, but I felt a burning sensation that worried me. Fortunately, I didn't get any blemishes, but I'm too scared to try it again. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 31, 2019
It's so convenient to use! I can put it on while doing my hair during my morning routine, and by the time I'm ready to do my makeup, the effects are quite nice. It's great for targeting specific areas like under the eyes, between the brows, and nasolabial folds. The amount of essence doesn't seem quite sufficient. The sheet mask doesn't feel fully saturated, which makes it a bit stiff and less pleasant to use. It's a shame it's not more soaked in essence. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2019
The synergistic effects of black pearl's clear skin and luminous benefits, combined with gold's soothing properties and ability to maintain clean skin, make this an incredibly impressive product! After applying the patches to my usually dull and dark under-eye areas, I noticed an immediate brightening effect once removed. They were also fantastic for reducing morning eye puffiness! I found that keeping them in the refrigerator for a cool sensation made the experience even more enjoyable. The hydrogel formula is packed with moisture, allowing for excellent absorption while wearing. I especially loved how well they adhered, allowing me to go about other tasks while wearing them! I can't think of any drawbacks! This product is completely satisfying. I highly recommend applying these while drying your hair for a quick treatment! They're not just for under-eyes either - try them on your neck or smile lines. For an extra cooling effect that's truly outstanding, store them in the refrigerator! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2019
I've been worried about my dark circles getting worse lately, so I was thrilled to discover these eye patches. I bought them to tackle my dark circles and eye wrinkles. After much deliberation over Petitfee's 11 different types, I chose the black pearl ones, which are rated as the best and offer a cooling effect. I'm really satisfied with my choice. They contain black pearl and 24K gold, making them visually appealing. The jelly-like hydrogel texture adheres so well that they don't fall off even when I shake my head vigorously. Unlike regular sheet masks that require you to lie still, I can move around freely with these on. The container is packed with essence, keeping the patches nice and moist. They're versatile too - you can use them not just around the eyes, but also on laugh lines, between the brows, and on the neck. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. It's a bit disappointing that they need to be used within 2 months of opening. Also, the cooling effect might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for those with super sensitive skin. I have extremely sensitive skin myself, but I enjoy the cooling sensation, so it wasn't an issue for me. For maximum cooling and soothing effects, especially great for reducing puffiness, try storing them in the fridge before use! The package comes with a spoon. Pro tip: instead of completely removing the seal, place the spoon between the seal and the lid. This way, you can easily take out the patches each time you use them. - ji***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2019
I left it on for 20 minutes, and wow, the area around my eyes felt so firm! There was no tightness, and even without applying anything else afterward, my skin felt incredibly hydrated. Usually, when I use sheet masks, the essence tends to linger around the eyes due to smaller pores. But with this one, it seemed to absorb cleanly, leaving behind just a subtle, hydrated glow. No irritation at all – I'm really satisfied! So far, I haven't experienced any tingling or blemishes, so no complaints! I think 20 minutes is the sweet spot. It's perfect for when you have an important event or need to take a photo ID – it really brightens up the eye area! Plus, your eye makeup won't pill afterward! - le********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessApr 28, 2019
It dries quickly and has a nice cooling effect, making it great for quickly lowering skin temperature in the morning. It absorbs well, leaving no sticky feeling after use, so it's perfect for applying makeup right after. It seems to dry in about 5 minutes after application. Sheet masks in the morning can be slow to absorb and have too much product, which can be overwhelming. This product is ideal for quickly reducing heat sensation when you're in a hurry. First of all, it has absolutely no effect on dark circles, eye wrinkles, or fine lines... I used it every night for two weeks, but no results. Also, maybe because I have super sensitive skin, it stings as soon as I apply it. It's not a warm sensation, just stinging? It feels like rubbing salt on a wound. I'm just using it up because I don't want to waste money. If you have thin skin around your eyes or sensitive skin like me, it's probably best to avoid this. The effects aren't worth enduring the discomfort. The discount isn't that high, but it goes on sale at Olive Young from time to time. Rather than expecting it to work as an eye patch, it's more suitable to use for reducing facial heat before applying makeup.
