The product name includes words like 'Vita' and 'Serum', which makes me feel like my skin will become brighter and more supple. The scent is quite strong, with a sour, alcohol-like smell that I don't particularly enjoy. Although it's labeled as a serum, the texture is so watery that it feels more like a toner, requiring multiple applications. Even after applying it several times, it doesn't leave my skin feeling firm, and the hydration is lacking. I didn't notice any brightening effects on my complexion either. Moreover, the ingredient list contains several components that I consider unfavorable. - wl*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2023
Absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling, and with consistent use, it noticeably brightens the skin The small quantity means you need to repurchase often, and the price can be a bit steep It's great to apply generously after washing up in the evening before bed for maximum hydration - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2022
After consistent use, I think I'm seeing some brightening effects! It absorbs quickly and I really like it. I can't really think of any downsides... Maybe just wishing it came in a larger size? - dk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2022
This is a one-month review (Before: 21.12.19 Start of use: 21.12.26 After: 22.01.26 Just took the photo -> I'm a bit pale because I applied a sunscreen with no pigment 🥲 It's the Sionik Simple Sunscreen and it doesn't provide any coverage. *Both are unedited and taken with the front camera However, the before is with an LG phone and the after is with a Samsung) Hardly any irritation Excellent spot improvement Excellent complexion improvement Excellent usage experience (watery, absorbs quickly, and moisturizing) Fresh scent I have a DSNT (dry, sensitive, rare pigmentation, supple) skin type. I have oily skin and acne, which I've had for over 10 years. I'm sensitive to aromatic oils, citrus oils, tea tree oil, and fermented ingredients. Most vitamin C ampoules contain lemon oil, so I chose this one. There are 3 allergen ingredients, but they don't affect me much. For a month, I applied one drop on my forehead, cheeks, and neck before applying my night cream. There were days when I felt sensitive, so I skipped it then. I also took vitamin C supplements consistently for a month. I applied sunscreen on days I went out. After a few weeks, my complexion became brighter, my acne decreased, and the marks faded. I'm glad I took before and after photos. ^-^ None, completely satisfied. The Etude House makeup and skincare products I picked are all great, and the cost-effectiveness is good. - lo******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2021
It's a completely water-based formula, but when applied, it gives a radiant glow. Instead of absorbing and disappearing, it feels like a thin protective layer on the skin's surface. I bought it for brightening purposes after getting a tan in summer, though I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet. The amount is really small. Brightening products work best with consistent, long-term use, so I'll need to purchase this frequently. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2021
I'm currently on my fifth bottle of this product. It's been incredibly effective for my acne scars. After washing my face in the morning and evening, I immediately apply it as the first step in my routine. I use the dropper to dispense the product, then gently pat half on each cheek, following the direction of my skin's texture. The quantity is a bit small. Since I use it daily, I find myself needing to repurchase quite frequently, which can be a bit of a hassle. - le****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2021
As a brightening product, it doesn't dry out the skin and seems to gently clarify the complexion without causing any blemishes. It doesn't have a powerful whitening effect, and the ingredients are slightly disappointing (though I personally didn't have any issues with it). After gently wiping with an exfoliating pad to remove dead skin cells, I apply it generously. In summer, this alone is enough to keep my skin hydrated. - ne*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMay 27, 2021
I'm using it as both a toner and essence. It's not overly drying, which is a plus. Looking at the ingredients... hmm, not impressed. That's probably why I've been getting blemishes on my face. It doesn't seem to have any brightening effects either... Since it's marketed as a brightening product, I'm only using it in the evening. It doesn't really work as an ampoule, so I'm just using it as an essence. - da*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJan 5, 2021
It has a subtle, lemony scent. The dead skin cell removal effect is noticeable, and it seems like it would promote skin regeneration. While it's good for exfoliation, if you use it like a serum and apply cream afterwards, it tends to pill. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2020
If you're looking for a light and refreshing essence for summer, this is the one to go for! Remember, you won't see results from brightening products after just one bottle. It has a slight alcohol scent, which gives it that crisp finish. To be honest, don't expect much in terms of hydration. While it's not very moisturizing, I console myself with the fact that it has skin brightening properties as I apply it. This product might work better for combination dehydrated skin types during warmer months. For those focusing on evening skin tone, consider layering this with other hydrating products for best results.
