When I applied it, the color was slightly brighter than my complexion, surprisingly minimal darkening, and it gave a smooth skin finish - I really loved this foundation. However... After using this, my skin that had been improving for a while started breaking out with blemishes and acne again. Despite being marketed as a moisturizing foundation, it's unexpectedly semi-matte, so when I applied it in winter, my cheeks started to crack as time passed. And this happened even after I built up my skincare routine! If only it didn't cause acne, I'd be willing to overlook everything else about this foundation. When applied with the accompanying foundation brush, it looks truly beautiful. The photo below was taken with a regular camera. I usually have acne-prone skin, but when I use this with concealer, it covers imperfections incredibly well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2019
The coverage was as good as the Double Lasting Foundation, and it's a foundation you can use in winter without any cracking, keeping your skin moisturized! The color was perfect for hiding redness, and it didn't cause any blemishes on my skin! After a few hours of wear, it gives your skin a glow, making it a foundation that makes your complexion look great. Since it's not a watery formula and has decent coverage, it's a bit thick. After some time, there's a bit of oiliness around the nose area, so you might need to touch up with powder. Applying with a puff is good, but I felt using a brush definitely made it feel more hydrating! - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 16, 2018
It's truly hydrating and gives a beautiful skin finish. The shade is on the lighter side. Because it's so moisturizing, it definitely leaves marks easily. You need to set it with powder, but for dry skin types, is it really necessary? Why? If that's the case, I'd rather... You really need to nail your skincare routine. If you don't, it'll all just sit on top of your skin... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 14, 2018
My skin tone is between 21 and 22, or around a medium 22, and when I use this foundation, the color matches my skin almost perfectly. My overall complexion is yellowish with a pink tinge only in areas prone to redness. Around my eyes and mouth, there's a slight green undertone. This foundation with its yellow base suits my skin color really well. Personally, I'm very satisfied with the shade. The texture is similar to the original Double Lasting foundation, which I like, and it's easy to apply. As it's a serum foundation, it doesn't feel dry on the skin. I'm not a fan of overly moisturizing products, and this one does have a slightly tacky feel, but it's not overwhelming. While the color is good, it unfortunately makes dark circles stand out too much. Since it has an overall yellow tone, you might need concealer or color correcting for areas around the eyes that have a greenish tint. How it applies depends on my skin condition, but generally, it doesn't look great on areas with large pores. It tends to settle into pores during application, which isn't very flattering. Even with careful application, it doesn't look as nice as I'd hoped. I wouldn't recommend this for those with large pores and oily skin in those areas. On a positive note, I found that using a dry puff and pressing the product into the skin helps a bit with the pore issue. I think if you focus on oil control and pay attention to your application technique, it might work better.
