My T-zone is oily, and when I used only Hanyul foundation, I got dead skin cells on my cheeks and chin. So I bought this to mix, and wow! While the staying power is slightly reduced when mixed, it eliminates Hanyul's drawback of pilling and keeps flakiness at bay. For those with oily skin, even in winter, using this alone makes your skin too greasy. Your hair sticks to your face, it transfers everywhere, and the color is a bit yellowish. It works great when mixed with Hanyul foundation (1 part) and serum foundation (0.6 parts). The pink beige from Hanyul blends nicely with the yellow serum, creating a beautiful color! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 14, 2018
My skin tone is between 21 and 22, or around a medium 22, and when I use this foundation, the color matches my skin almost perfectly. My overall complexion is yellowish with a pink tinge only in areas prone to redness. Around my eyes and mouth, there's a slight green undertone. This foundation with its yellow base suits my skin color really well. Personally, I'm very satisfied with the shade. The texture is similar to the original Double Lasting foundation, which I like, and it's easy to apply. As it's a serum foundation, it doesn't feel dry on the skin. I'm not a fan of overly moisturizing products, and this one does have a slightly tacky feel, but it's not overwhelming. While the color is good, it unfortunately makes dark circles stand out too much. Since it has an overall yellow tone, you might need concealer or color correcting for areas around the eyes that have a greenish tint. How it applies depends on my skin condition, but generally, it doesn't look great on areas with large pores. It tends to settle into pores during application, which isn't very flattering. Even with careful application, it doesn't look as nice as I'd hoped. I wouldn't recommend this for those with large pores and oily skin in those areas. On a positive note, I found that using a dry puff and pressing the product into the skin helps a bit with the pore issue. I think if you focus on oil control and pay attention to your application technique, it might work better. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2018
It doesn't dry out my skin and doesn't separate as much as other foundations I've used. It's so moisturizing that when I touch my face after applying makeup, the foundation transfers to my hands. It's too dewy and there's slight darkening after some time. The undertone is also too yellow. I used to apply toner and emulsion before foundation, but since this one is so hydrating, using just toner is enough. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 9, 2018
Great coverage! I was curious about how well it would cover, so I tried it after drinking. It concealed everything except my cheeks. Even when it fades, it does so beautifully. I have extremely dry skin, so dead skin cells tend to build up, but this foundation is so moisturizing that if I prep my skin well, it doesn't flake. It has a yellow undertone. Also, I usually wear shade 21, but this seems a bit darker than that.
