My skin texture has improved noticeably. The moisturizing power is stronger than I expected, and I feel like my face looks brighter. I usually suffer from severe redness due to winter winds, but it seems less intense now, probably because of the strong hydration. The packaging is really disappointing. I got it through a group purchase, so the price wasn't bad, but as I continue to use the product, the amount inside keeps decreasing. It feels like the product is drying out. I wish they would change the container. In the morning, I use just a small amount. In the evening, I apply it all the way to my neck and hands. - lu*******Normal SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2020
This ampoule boasts incredible hydration power, especially during seasonal changes or winter months. It seems to work wonders when your face feels rough or parched. The texture is incredibly rich and adheres to your skin beautifully. Apply it before bed, and you'll wake up to noticeably softer skin, with no trace of dryness throughout the day. It's not ideal for daytime use as it can cause makeup to slide off. This is likely due to its heavier formulation. While the packaging can be a bit cumbersome, there's a certain satisfaction in using each individual capsule, which feels more hygienic. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2020
I got this through a group buy - 20 x 2ml ampoules for 79,000 won, plus a 3,000 won sample, totaling 82,000 won. The scent is not exactly spa-like as some claimed, but more like wheat germ oil - a warm, nutty aroma. It's not particularly refreshing or cool. There's also sunflower oil, so it has that oil fragrance. The texture is typical for an ampoule. It absorbs well, leaving a slightly moisturized feel without being greasy. I think it would suit all skin types (though dry skin might need extra hydration, and sensitive skin should patch test first). Like most ampoules, opening each package gives a special feeling. However, glass ampoules can be annoying with glass particles, and these plastic ones are hard to squeeze out completely. Being opaque, you can't see how much is left, and when it gets crumpled, product doesn't come out easily. You might need to cut it open with scissors - inconvenient when you're in a hurry. I thought these ampoule types would have fewer preservatives, but surprisingly, it contains at least 5 (that I noticed): benzyl alcohol, fragrance, benzyl salicylate, sorbic acid, and linalool. I was enticed by the 'Italian, professional esthetic product' marketing, but I'm a bit disappointed. The ingredients are mostly for moisturizing, like urea. At 3,000 won for 2ml, it's pricey, and one squeeze is about one application. It's frustrating how cosmetic prices inflate due to packaging, design, and advertising costs. Still, Hwahae is always helpful for comparisons. I hope for more reasonably priced, functional products, whether from Korea or international collaborations! Don't be too swayed by celebrity endorsements! At least the fragrance isn't irritating or artificially floral. I wish they'd make it cheaper by ditching the paper box packaging - it's unnecessary and just creates waste.
