ProsThis body wash leaves you feeling less dry even after showering. I was intrigued by shower oil since I'd never used it before, but when my skin became dry and itchy, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did - it's gentle and hydrating! It feels a bit like cleansing with a cleansing oil. I apply the shower oil to my damp skin, massage it in, gradually adding water, and then rinse off at the end. When you use it, it starts with a slippery oil feeling, then as you massage it forms a milky lather, and when you rinse off, your skin feels so smooth - it's amazing! And the scent is absolutely wonderful! It's a unique herbal fragrance, a mix of medicinal herbs with a hint of spiciness, blended with grass and tree bark. It's an unusual scent I've never encountered before. It doesn't give me a headache and doesn't feel artificial - it's unique and lovely. The fragrance seems to be quite divisive, but after rinsing off the shower oil, about 80% of the scent disappears. The rest lingers as a subtle, pleasant aroma.
ConsThe packaging could be better. Being an oil, even when the cap is closed, a bit of oil left at the top tends to seep out. I wonder if a pump-type bottle would have been better, but for liberal application, the current cap might actually be more convenient. Also, while it is moisturizing, you still need to apply a body emulsion afterward. It's less drying than regular body wash, but the hydration isn't enough to skip body lotion entirely after showering.
