Better ingredients: I've tried many anti-hair loss shampoos, and most had 5+ concerning ingredients, which was disappointing. While not perfect, this one only has 3, making it better than most. 2. Fragrance-free: I usually use two shampoos - one for pre-wash and one for hair loss. I prefer at least one to be unscented due to my sensitivity. This product has no lingering scent after rinsing, which I appreciate. 3. Packaging: I dislike thick formulas that are hard to pump out. This product has a water-like consistency that pumps easily. It may seem minor, but many brands overlook this basic feature, forcing me to cut bottles in half. The packaging is crucial.
Cons1. Cooling effect: It's weaker compared to other products I've used. While not entirely absent, it feels milder than average. 2. Lather: It doesn't foam well. While abundant lather doesn't always mean better cleansing, this one really lacks foam. The watery texture makes me use more product. Even after pre-washing, it doesn't lather much. It feels wasteful for such an expensive anti-hair loss shampoo. 3. Stiffness: Although I use conditioner afterward, the shampoo itself doesn't feel smooth when rinsing. 4. Itchiness: (This may vary per individual) Either one of the cautionary ingredients or something else in the formula doesn't agree with me. I've experienced some scalp itching while testing this shampoo. Considering my concerns about hair loss and oily, potentially seborrheic dermatitis-prone scalp, I've tried many anti-hair loss shampoos. This was among the priciest, but disappointingly fell short in effectiveness and cooling sensation.
TipUsing it after a pre-wash shampoo may help create more lather.
