I bought this product last summer, tucked it away in a corner, and finally used it this summer! I didn't realize it had been discontinued until I looked it up to write this review. Turns out it's no longer available, which is a shame. My skin type is combination, especially oily in the T-zone during summer. I also tend to sweat a lot. I'm a big fan of Innisfree's No Sebum Powder, so when I heard about the No Sebum Toner, I had to try it. I purchased it hoping it would help control excess oil on my face. I had high expectations, and I'm happy to say I was really satisfied! It had a slight cooling effect and felt refreshing. However, it doesn't seem to be meant for hydration. While I could feel the cool minty sensation, it wasn't particularly moisturizing. Those sensitive to scents should be cautious. Even I was taken aback at first, thinking, 'What's this smell? It's almost medicinal?' You do get used to it with continued use, but it can be startling at first! This isn't really a drawback, but being a No Sebum Toner, I wouldn't recommend it for spring, fall, or winter. It's best suited for summer, especially for those with oily or combination skin! The scent is a bit off-putting (a mix of mint and medicinal smell). I wish it provided a bit more hydration. I always use this toner by making my own toner pads (check out the photo). This method allows me to use it as a mask and it's great as an exfoliating toner too! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 29, 2020
As it's from the oil-control line, it's a blessing for those of us with oily skin - it really helps keep that shine at bay. While the reduced shine is a plus, it could also be seen as a drawback. The effects aren't as dramatic as I had hoped. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 23, 2020
My skin's been a mess because I've been too lazy to take care of it properly. It's been an oil slick, just exploding with grease everywhere. But when I applied this in the morning, I could definitely feel the oiliness disappearing. It wasn't until I got home in the evening that I noticed a slight bit of oil coming through. For someone with an oil explosion like me, this was really fantastic! After not using it for about two weeks, my skin went back to its original state. But it's so good that I'm planning to repurchase! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 30, 2019
It finishes with a soft, powdery feel that lightly controls excess oil on the skin. The powdery finish is both a pro and a con - it's too drying for winter use. Recommended as a summer toner. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2019
True to its name, the Innisfree No Sebum Skin left my face feeling fresh and matte after applying the toner While the Innisfree No Sebum Skin lived up to its name with a nice matte finish after applying the toner, that was its only redeeming quality Use it directly without a cotton pad - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2019
I bought this thinking it would control sebum well for oily skin, and I was pleasantly surprised! It definitely reduced the amount of excess oil on my face. I purchased this along with a no-sebum emulsion, but using both together made my skin feel too dry. I thought I had oily skin because oil appeared quickly, but after using this, I realized I might have combination dehydrated skin. Using this with the emulsion made my skin feel too dry and flaky. For those with combination dehydrated skin, as mentioned on the website, it might be better to use this as an exfoliating toner. Try pairing it with a hydrating emulsion and moisturizer that focus more on hydration rather than oil control.
