Sprays a fine mist effectively Maintains hydration well Convenient to carry around I'm not sure if this is a fixer or a mist... It doesn't set makeup at all and everything transfers - so**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2022
- I definitely noticed my makeup staying put better! Even the creases around my mouth were less noticeable! Usually during the rainy season like now, my makeup would completely melt off and I'd just have to give up, but thanks to this fixer I feel like I can hold out much better. - It's lighter than other fixers! Sometimes the super strong fixers can feel a bit heavy on the face, but this product sprays like a fine mist and feels so lightweight that there's no uncomfortable sensation. - It's a continuous fine mist spray that keeps going with one press, which makes it a bit tricky to control the amount... This can lead to it pooling and running down your face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2021
It's fantastic! Perfect for hot days when makeup tends to stay put. Absolutely top-notch! While there's nothing particularly disappointing, I would say the lasting power isn't as long as I'd like. - al*******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2021
The difference before and after using this is remarkable. Before, my makeup would melt off even after being outside for a short while, but after using it, my look lasts so much longer. It doesn't feel heavy at all. With other setting sprays, I've had issues with too much product coming out at once, making it overwhelming. But this one has great dispensing power while still misting finely, which I love. While makeup longevity is much better after using this compared to before, it's not an extremely strong setting spray. Even after applying, your makeup might still slide a bit. For best results, spray once after applying your base makeup and once more when you've finished your entire look. This two-step application really boosts the staying power! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2021
It does provide some level of setting... Without it, your makeup looks noticeably off. But when you use it, you wonder if it's actually doing anything? It's truly the epitome of effortless makeup setting for our times. Being gentle, it's not as harsh on the skin as other fixers. If you're expecting mind-blowing staying power, this isn't that kind of fixer... Don't set your hopes too high for that. Try applying it with a puff that's been used for foundation, gently patting it on over your makeup. I wouldn't recommend using it before makeup though, as it might make your look more prone to breaking down. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 29, 2020
It has a soothing effect and works really well with my cushion foundation! However, if you spray it near your eyes, it tends to run down a bit - ls************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2020
Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, blemishes, super sensitive skin 1) Soothing effect - I initially bought this setting spray without considering the ingredients, but after checking the Hwahae app, I learned it had a soothing effect. I continued using it and indeed noticed it calmed my skin! Although I'm not sure if it's due to my other skincare products and sunscreen also having soothing properties, this spray definitely contributed to calming my skin. 2) Hydration - While I'm not certain about its setting power, it was definitely moisturizing! It felt like a mist with just a tiny bit of setting ability. When used with my Rom&nd cushion, which is quite matte, it prevented caking and kept my skin hydrated. 3) Setting ability - I used this with the Rom&nd Pure cushion in shade 21, which is quite matte. I'm not sure if it's because of that, but I felt like my makeup lasted a bit longer than usual! There aren't many downsides, but if I had to point out something: 1) Setting power - Given its name as a setting spray, I expected its setting power to be incredible, but it wasn't as impressive as I hoped. (If I were to choose again, I might spend a bit more on a higher-end setting spray!) 2) Oil control - If you have extremely oily skin, you might not like the dewy finish. After it dries, you could try patting your skin with some oil-control powder or a no-sebum product to manage the shine. I recommend spraying this onto your puff rather than directly on your face, then applying your cushion or foundation by patting it in. This method seems to work better! If you want a moisturized feel underneath with a matte finish on top, try lightly dusting some oil-control powder afterwards. This works great for those who want hydration with a shine-free look. - 09*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2020
This is my first makeup fixer, and I'm thrilled it prevents my eye makeup from smudging in the afternoon. I love that my eye makeup stays put! While I might be too generous in my assessment since it's my first fixer, I really enjoy the pleasant scent and the spray-like application. However, after spraying near the eyes, it feels like the mascara settles due to the moisture. I use a hair dryer on cool setting to dry off the dampness. It's just a feeling though, and others can't really tell if it's actually settling. I apply it once after finishing my eye makeup, then again right before heading out to set everything. The fact that it doesn't work in one go might be a drawback, or perhaps it's just a matter of different usage methods for different people - I'm not sure if I should call it a disadvantage or just an area for improvement. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2020
1. It definitely helps my makeup last longer compared to before using it! However, I found it more effective to apply with a puff rather than spraying directly. 2. Great value for money! I saw it selling for around $7 on Coupang. While pricier options might be better, this is quite good for its affordable price. 3. Pro tip! Spray once before applying makeup and once after for better longevity. Just be careful not to overdo it, as it can make your face feel dry! 1. The performance seems to drop significantly when sprayed directly. I found it works best when applied with a puff, gently patting it onto the face and letting it dry completely. That's how I got the best results! 2. The quantity is a bit small. It seems to run out in less than two months. I got the best results by spraying it on a puff, gently patting it on my face, and letting it dry as much as possible! Don't forget to shake the spray well before use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 18, 2020
There's nothing really positive to say... The only good thing is the affordable price. It doesn't seem to have any fixing properties. It just feels like a regular mist. I bought it, used it twice, and now it's just sitting there unused.
