This product I discovered at a makeup shop is absolutely amazing! It brings up all the dead skin cells in my dry areas (I have extremely dry skin) There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I just wish it hadn't been discontinued! It works great when mixed with foundation. I applied multiple layers for best results - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2021
Unbeatable for taming those stubborn dead skin cells on your heels. Works wonders when you spread it generously with your hands on dry areas. The scent is a bit strong. It's best to use only a tiny amount on your face, otherwise it can leave you looking too shiny. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2021
Helps with dead skin cells that appear due to winter dryness. Its rich texture makes it suitable for winter use only. The rich consistency isn't suitable for oily skin types. It feels a bit heavy for summer use, so I only apply it at night. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2021
1. I used this for touch-ups and it really removes makeup well while also allowing new makeup to adhere nicely. The signature Vaseline-like glow is perfect for creating a slightly dewy skin look. 2. Rather than just a face balm, it's more of a multi-balm. When applied to cuticles, it's incredibly moisturizing! I used it liberally. 3. Interestingly, I felt like my skin was getting a break when I only applied this. It works well on dry days. It might be challenging to use on humid and hot days. Also, the ingredients list is a bit disappointing. It's probably not suitable for daily use. Highly recommend using it on cuticles! - ch**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 21, 2021
A multi-balm that lives up to its name! It gives you that gorgeous glow when applied. Unfortunately, it causes blemishes for me. While it might just not suit my skin, I'm disappointed because the hydration is actually quite good. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 25, 2019
Instantly provides a dewy glow. Gives immediate surface oiliness to extremely dry skin. The sweet fragrance is pleasant, but unfortunately it doesn't suit my skin. It feels like a mix between cooking oil and thin Vaseline, making your skin instantly greasy. It's disastrous for oily skin types, creating an intense oil slick. Moreover, applying foundation over this product results in zero coverage. I bought it after watching YouTube reviews and deeply regret it. There wasn't a smaller size available, so I purchased the large one - what a waste of money! It doesn't even work for my extremely dry skin. As a lip balm, it's equally ineffective since the moisture and oiliness evaporate quickly, making it unusable for that purpose too. You might as well mix it with body emulsion and use it on your body instead. The sweet scent is really all it has going for it. - le*********Combination SkinApr 21, 2019
It seems to brighten my face and provide immediate relief from dryness My makeup slides off completely... Whether I mix it with foundation or apply foundation over it, everything cracks by the afternoon... I bought this after watching YouTube reviews... I'll just use it as a night cream before bed - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2019
I discovered this multi-cream while watching YouTube. Celebrities apparently mix it with foundation when their skin is dry, so I quickly bought it to try. When I first received it, I was impressed by the generous amount for the price, wondering how long it would take to use it all. But true to its name, it really is a multi-purpose cream. I've used it mixed with slightly dry creams as a mask, applied it generously to dry areas like elbows and knees in winter, and even smoothed it on the damaged ends of my hair after washing. It's been great for all of these uses! There seem to be tiny particles in it, which made me think it might help with exfoliating dead skin cells too. While the product itself was good, I especially loved the scent. It has a fresh, lemony fragrance that doesn't match the rich feel of the cream, giving it an unexpected brightness. My mom, who suffers from deep dryness, tried a sample I gave her and immediately asked me to order one for her! It might be too rich to use on its own, except for those with extremely dry skin. There's a slight heaviness that's noticeable. For combination dehydrated skin, this multi-cream has more of a rich feel than hydration, so it should probably be applied sparingly and only in specific areas. It's a holy grail item when mixed with a dry cream! It's also great to mix a little into foundation, or to apply generously on its own to areas prone to fine lines like around the eyes or smile lines before bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2019
This product is moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. The staying power seems pretty good too. Best of all, it looks like it'll last a long time. Fantastic! People with oily skin might need to apply less. It would be great if they offered a wider range of balms for different skin types. It works wonderfully when applied under foundation. You might not even need other foundations. When mixed with this product, your usual foundation seems to come alive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 16, 2018
I've adjusted my rating from 5 stars to 3.5 stars. Many people disliked this product because it doesn't absorb well, but let me tell you how those with dry skin can use it effectively! It's truly a holy grail item. This advice is for those with dry skin who prefer a matte finish. I have dry skin but love a matte finish. I've always wanted to use Estée Lauder foundation, but it's too heavy and drying for me. I'm currently using Dior Forever, which has a semi-matte finish that's great for summer but very drying in winter. However, this multi-cream has changed my life! Unlike others, I don't use it at night. Instead, I mix it with my foundation in the morning. I use a 2:1 ratio of foundation to multi-cream and apply it with a brush for a gorgeous, dewy complexion. Since it's quite rich, I lightly dust some No Sebum powder over my foundation. Despite having dry skin that usually develops dead skin cells and feels parched when I use powder, this cream mixed with foundation allows me to use powder even in the dead of winter without drying out! It maintains a hydrated yet matte skin look all day. It's the perfect combination - moisturized on the inside, matte on the outside! If my skin is in really bad condition and starts to feel dry midday, I remove my makeup with the same cream, reapply it, and then put foundation on top. This completely eliminates any dead skin cells. Also, this rich formula doesn't seem to clog pores or cause blemishes (at least for me). I usually break out with most cushion products, but I've never had any issues with this cream! If you really want to make the most of this cream, I recommend mixing it with foundation and topping it with No Sebum powder. I've changed my rating from 5 stars to 3.5 stars because: I used this product mixed with foundation on a very dry day, and at first, I didn't notice, but when mixed with foundation, it causes darkening! I thought it might be due to my Dior foundation, which tends to oxidize, but it became way too dark, so I don't use it anymore. On extremely dry days, I now apply a tiny amount and let it absorb as much as possible before applying sunscreen, base, and then foundation in that order. This is the only way to minimize darkening. --- Previous review --- It's terrible for skin hydration! It's so rich that I never include it in my basic skincare routine. It feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin, not absorbing like an oil, and just stays on the skin's surface. Absolutely do not use this as skincare! It doesn't absorb well. When used with foundation, it causes darkening. Just apply a tiny amount only where needed after your skincare routine. Follow this order: multi-cream, sunscreen, base, foundation! --- Previous addition --- Make sure to mix it with foundation! But use slightly more foundation than usual (about 1.2 times more). Don't forget to set it with powder!
