For those with oily or acne-prone skin seeking an antibacterial effect, vinegar is truly excellent and highly effective However, it can be quite harsh on the skin, causing a burning sensation and redness Consider patch testing first if you have sensitive skin - gk*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsNov 20, 2022
It's just an average pH-balanced exfoliating toner. With 10% Chungbuk apple vinegar, the vinegar scent is surprisingly strong - we're talking real, authentic apple cider vinegar here. Thankfully, the smell dissipates quickly after application. The finish feels refreshing, which might be great for oily skin types. They promote 'picosaccharide' as excellent for sebum control and acne bacteria removal. However, I didn't notice any significant effect on blemishes. Keep in mind that the clinical trial results on their website refer to the efficacy of the 'ingredient', not necessarily this specific toner reducing acne bacteria by 75%. Consider this when making your purchase decision. I was disappointed that the scent was too strong and it didn't have much effect on blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2022
I find myself reaching for this whenever blemishes start to appear. It's not too harsh and seems to work well, so I'm using it regularly. On days when my skin is acting up, I just apply this and go to sleep. The scent might make you feel like you're applying vinegar to your face. Those who are sensitive to smells might not enjoy it. - js*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2021
Helps with managing dead skin cells. It's a great product for daily skincare routine. The vinegar scent might be polarizing for some users. - be*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedDec 5, 2021
1. My blemishes have really calmed down. This product alone was the main reason I went from using a sample to purchasing the full-size. I'd heard that diluted vinegar was good for the skin, but I never expected it to be this effective. I could actually feel my skin's pH balance being regulated. 1. It really does smell like vinegar, probably because it contains actual vinegar. Personally, I can tolerate the scent! 1. I highly recommend this for those with low oil production and dry skin who are prone to blemishes or get occasional hormonal acne. 2. I also suggest using this toner on your body. - ey*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 29, 2021
I tried a sample of this product I received somewhere before. When used as an exfoliating toner, it gives a clean and refreshing feeling that really lifts my mood. It's also quite nice as a clay mask. The scent is too strong. I couldn't even bring myself to try it as a toner pack. - zp*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2021
It seems to dissolve dead skin cells with acetic acid, making my skin a bit smoother.. Is this meant for exfoliation? After applying this, my face started burning intensely. When I looked in the mirror, my skin was all red and felt incredibly hot. In the middle of the night, I had to wash my face again and use a different toner as a mask to calm it down... In my 30+ years, I've never had my skin react this badly... My face feels like it's on fire... I've tried this brand's other products and was quite satisfied, but this vinegar toner just doesn't agree with me. Those with super sensitive skin should probably avoid using this. - sk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2021
I knew vinegar was good for the skin! But measuring vinegar, diluting it in water, washing your face... it can be a hassle. This toner seems like a great alternative when you want the benefits without the fuss! As expected, that vinegary smell... I received about 5 samples, but I really can't stand the pungent vinegar odor. I gave away all the samples except the one I tried myself! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2021
This was my first time trying a toner, and it's incredibly hydrating. At first, I wasn't keen on the scent, but it grew on me as I used it. I'd definitely consider repurchasing. Unfortunately, applying it once doesn't make the deep dryness disappear completely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2021
- It's comfortably moisturizing and doesn't cause dead skin cells to flake. It feels like it's performing its role as a toner perfectly. - The quantity is generous for the price, making it a decent value. It's a reliable, no-fuss toner. - It stings a bit after application... Even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, there's a burning sensation and tingling that subsides after a while. I really wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. - The vinegar smell is really strong. If you dislike that distinctive vinegar scent, I wouldn't recommend it... The smell lingers for quite a while, too. For those without sensitive skin, this could work well for the 5-skin or 7-skin method. If you do the 7-skin method and then apply cream, your skin feels nicely hydrated.
