As someone with extremely dry skin who breaks out in blemishes when using only oily products, I've been a hydration nomad searching for the perfect water-based cream. Finally, I've found my holy grail! This moisturizer is purely hydrating without a trace of oil. It feels so comfortable on the skin, and I haven't had to worry about breakouts while using it. If you tend to get blemishes from petroleum-based products like Kiehl's or Vaseline, you absolutely must try this! Since it's purely hydrating, the moisture retention isn't great. It's not enough on its own for going out, but because it's so gentle and non-irritating, I like to apply this first and then layer on a facial oil that works for my skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 3, 2024
As someone with extremely oily skin who breaks out in tiny bumps from even slightly rich products, but also struggles with deep dryness making makeup application difficult without an emulsion, this is truly a godsend. It's packed with hydration without any excess oil, making it perfect for those of us with oily skin. However, in winter, I'd recommend following up with an additional moisturizing product for the best results. If you have very dry skin, you might want to skip this one. There are other products in the same line with a richer consistency that I'd recommend instead. When applied thoroughly and massaged in well, it absorbs completely without leaving any greasy residue. - sw***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 4, 2023
I finally started using this product I bought last year :) It's the Aqua Bomb Aloe, which is said to be released only once a year, with added aloe vera to the original Aqua Bomb formula 💦 First off, the texture is quite similar to the original Aqua Bomb. It's a runny cream formula that looks packed with hydration. It applies lightly, making it pleasant to use. While I'm not sure about its soothing effects after application, I'm satisfied with how hydrating it feels. The jar packaging and the rather strong fragrance might be points to consider for those with sensitive noses :) It's best to apply small amounts multiple times, gently rolling it onto the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2021
I bought this after it was recommended for being gentle, and it does seem to provide good hydration I started using this after my skin became acne-prone. While it's moisturizing, it makes my skin a bit oily. Being a lightweight hydrating cream, it feels slightly drying in the current weather - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2021
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love water-based moisturizers without excess oil, and this formula is just perfect. The aloe vera ingredient is great for when I have blemishes - I slather it on generously before bed, and when I wake up, my skin feels soothed and hydrated. While there's not much to complain about, the formula is quite runny, so I go through it quickly. Though that might be because I tend to apply it liberally. After exfoliating, using a face mask, or a wash-off pack, I apply this generously as the final step before bed. The next morning, my skin feels incredibly hydrated! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 2, 2020
I used this all summer long and it was absolutely amazing! I used to just use the Aqua Bomb, but this cream perfectly addresses the slight dryness that can come with the Aqua Bomb. It's not overly rich, yet it's deeply hydrating with a cooling effect and absorbs beautifully. Perhaps due to the aloe, it seems to have an even greater soothing effect. I think it'll be perfect for use throughout summer and into early fall! There wasn't really anything disappointing about it. I bought it on Coupang since cosmetics are cheaper there, but compared to other Belif products, it's not discounted as much. It's quite pricey! For an extra refreshing feel in summer, try keeping it in the refrigerator before use. - im*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2020
The hydration power is excellent! When applied before bed, you wake up with silky smooth skin. However, if used during the day, those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. I'd especially recommend this for those with dry skin! I tried the new aloe edition, but honestly, it doesn't seem much different from the original Aqua Balm. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 29, 2020
It's nice and gentle with a cooling effect. While it feels a bit drier than Moist Bomb after absorption, it's more hydrating than the original Aqua Bomb. The high PEG content makes me feel a bit uneasy while using it. - se**********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2020
I've always stuck to the Moisture Bomb because I disliked the slippery feeling of the original Aqua Bomb, but this one absorbs surprisingly well and feels more hydrating than the Aqua Bomb! The hydration level is somewhere between Aqua Bomb and Moisture Bomb? The texture is more similar to Aqua Bomb. It has a cooling effect, and above all, the fragrance is absolutely delightful. I just wish the ingredients were a bit better, that's all. If you're looking for a moisturizer that's more hydrating than Aqua Bomb but lighter than Moisture Bomb, this product is perfect for you.
