One of my favorite mascaras, it creates dramatically voluminous and long lashes. The effect is truly amazing - the lashes look full and each lash is separated, making the eyes appear longer. It creates a glamorous eye look. Surprisingly, it doesn't smudge too much either. The mascara design is pretty, and the peanut-shaped brush coats the lashes all the way to the outer corners and lifts even the shorter inner lashes. Unlike other brands, this mascara really grabs and lifts my entire lash line, making them look fuller. It finishes with a deep, matte black color without getting clumpy or heavy like some volumizing mascaras. For reference, I've only ever used lengthening mascaras from other brands before.
Cons
There is some powder fallout, and the more you use the mascara, the drier the formula becomes, leading to more powder fallout.
Tip
Using the VDL mascara fixer along with it prevents any powder fallout or smudging.

My eyelashes really curl up volumetrically. Among volume mascaras, this one seems to be the prettiest in terms of curl.
