Not a single redeeming quality. I guess the only 'advantage' is the low price? But that just brings to mind the saying 'you get what you pay for'.
ConsI was using Clinique's Vitamin C serum and it worked wonders for my skin, so I thought I'd try a cheaper alternative with similar or higher concentration. With a mix of hope and curiosity, I ordered this from iHerb. Big mistake. The old adage 'you get what you pay for' rings true here. Compared to Clinique, this has zero benefits. Actually, it has no effect at all except turning my skin inside out. There's no comparison. I believe Vitamin C serums or essences work best for oily or combination dehydrated skin. They should at least reduce sebum production, leading to less dead skin cells, but this serum does nothing of the sort. No brightening effect on the complexion whatsoever. After use, it leaves a film-like feeling, and when I wash my face later, it feels slippery, which isn't great either. I know skincare products generally have minimal effects on skin improvement, but anyway, I'm going back to Clinique. I bought two of these and it's just money down the drain.
