You can apply it thinly. The formula is easy to control the intensity with a lip brush. For a powdery lip product, it's less drying than most. It's readily available at Olive Young and often goes on sale. While the formula isn't inherently drying, it clumps if applied over a lip balm, and it smears if topped with lip oil or gloss. It's a lonely lip product. When applied, it settles into lip lines and tends to clump, instantly caking if there's any moisture or pressure. It also streaks easily when patted on. Touch-ups are naturally difficult. The color is coral in name only, lacking the characteristic whiteness of coral. It's just a red-pink with yellow undertones. It's completely different from the official swatches, and you can't build it up to achieve that thick, powdery look shown online. Building it up just leads to more settling in lines and clumping. Blending is out of the question. It's a high-chroma shade without fluorescence... not quite PCCS Bright, more like a Strong tone that might suit a Spring Bright who doesn't take on fluorescent tones. Honestly, the formula is so poor that I wouldn't recommend this product to any deep undertone. After it sets, it has a tint-like quality that tends to become redder and darker, so the color payoff varies greatly depending on individual body temperature and natural lip color. The staining color is a pink-based red, but the strong yellow undertone gives it an odd feel. I really don't recommend it, but I'm giving it two stars in case warm deep undertones with limited options need something. You won't be able to blend this product with any other formula or in any order, except for layering a mousse-type tint on top. To minimize patchiness, forget about using lip balm. Once you give up lip balm, dryness becomes inevitable. Rather than patting it on, it's better to use a lip brush or apply it with zero pressure, letting the applicator glide over your lips. You'll have no choice but to do it this way. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinNov 4, 2020
The color is versatile enough to be used both as a base or on its own! Just one swipe gives great pigmentation, and the staying power is impressive. It tends to transfer a bit after application!! It also slightly emphasizes dead skin cells.
