Absolutely love it! The coverage is decent, and both the texture and staying power are pretty good. Hmm, perhaps because of the good coverage, it feels a bit heavy on the skin. This is just my personal opinion though. - lo*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 26, 2020
I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it seems to settle into fine lines less than other cushions! It also provides decent coverage. Plus, I love how it applies smoothly and keeps my skin hydrated. The surface mirror is so convex that I can't see myself properly. I'd much prefer the flat mirror from before - it was a hundred times better. Also, for some reason, the main body seems to have become more rounded than before. - qu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 20, 2020
I'm trying Clio cushion for the first time! I always read lots of reviews before buying cosmetics, and I've used Hera Black Cushion and Rom&nd Zero Cushion before. Compared to Hera, this one definitely feels more hydrating. As time passes, it does get a bit oily, but not to the point where it's unusable. It gives a dewy finish, but even with masks these days, it doesn't break down much! I really liked that. The coverage is decent when you layer it, so I wasn't too disappointed. I have blemishes and acne scars, so coverage is important to me. While perfect coverage with a cushion is impossible, this one provides a good level of coverage. I've been using this cushion for over a week now, and I haven't experienced any new blemishes, itching, or redness. I didn't notice much darkening, perhaps because I chose a slightly darker shade. The cooling effect felt different from other cushions - not overwhelming, just a slight cool and hydrating sensation when applying. The cushion case is pretty, and the puff is large, making it easy to apply quickly. The puff material feels more like dense latex than a sponge, releasing product as you pat it on! I think I might have chosen the wrong shade, haha! I'm usually around shade 22, and I heard Ginger would work, so I picked it. It's actually close to my skin tone, and when I first apply it, there's a slight orange tint. But after blending and letting it settle, it matches my natural skin tone without looking darker. So, if you prefer a brighter look, choose your color carefully! A refill came with it, but next time I'd like to try shade 3. Hera Black Cushion in 21 gave a much brighter look, while the Ginger color is a perfect match. So those who use shade 22 might want to keep this in mind. As time passes, the initial hydration turns a bit oily, so using powder on top might be a good idea. Also, if it's too hydrating, you might experience some pilling, so make sure to let your skincare absorb fully before applying the cushion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2020
It's moisturizing when applied and feels powdery soft afterwards, making it perfect for summer cushions! I was totally smitten by the gorgeous case and bought it, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! The puff is amazing too - it picks up the product, but once you've finished patting it in, no excess product remains. For such an affordable price, the quality is incredible - talk about value for money! The only reason I deducted one star is because I have super sensitive skin, and I was a bit disappointed by the not-so-great ingredients... Oh well. You really, really need to apply it in a very thin layer! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 30, 2020
Hmm... there's nothing really good to say, to be honest... It doesn't adhere well to the skin and the staying power isn't great... It doesn't last very long at all... - ls********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 12, 2020
If you control the amount well, it applies thinly with good coverage, making it perfect for touch-ups. As you go for darker shades, they seem much lighter than the labeled shade. In my experience, it felt more like shade 22.5. I wouldn't recommend using this these days when we're wearing masks... It transfers excessively, and perhaps due to the pressure from the mask, my skin breaks out every time I use it. - yu******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2020
Before diving into the review, let me describe my skin type: warm undertone, darker than shade 23, oily, with severe acne scars, resulting redness, and enlarged pores. This is my first time using a cushion after always using foundation, so my comparison mainly focuses on foundation. Here's my review after about two months of use: 1. Color While others mentioned the shade matched their skin tone perfectly, it was slightly light for me since I'm darker than shade 23. However, it brightened my complexion naturally, which I was satisfied with. 2. Coverage It covered my pores perfectly in the butterfly zone, making them seem non-existent. However, on my nose where pores are larger, they were still visible. You'll need an additional primer there. It covered redness completely. For acne scars, it concealed very faint marks well, but as I mentioned, my scars are severe, so it didn't cover them entirely. I use concealer along with it. 3. Longevity & Wear If you control oil throughout the day, it lasts well for 9 hours without touch-ups. I used oil blotting sheets, which caused less makeup disturbance than powder. Even when the makeup starts to wear off, it does so naturally and beautifully without looking messy. 4. Application A small amount spreads thinly and widely. Even when I apply an extra layer on areas needing more coverage (cheeks), it doesn't feel thick. I didn't experience any pilling around pores or sides of the nose. Initially, I had issues with it settling into nose creases, but that was due to over-application. If you're experiencing this, try using less product. - It's disappointing that refills aren't sold separately offline. - Despite the 'Kill Cover' name, the coverage isn't extraordinarily high. It's just average coverage. It's best not to set your expectations too high. - It seems to go on sale frequently. You can purchase it for just over 20,000 won during sales, so keep an eye out for those periods. - When covering pores, instead of patting lightly like on other areas, press firmly while applying the cushion for a pore-less finish. - Using a primer and concealer together works well. Particularly for concealer, I use another brand I already own, but the color doesn't match the cushion well, making it look unnatural when applied over the cushion. I apply concealer on scars first, then cover with the cushion. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2020
I have oily skin with small blemishes. I've tried both the Conceal Cushion and Founwear XP, but this cushion adheres lightly and smoothly to the skin. It provides decent coverage while giving a natural finish to my makeup. It's not too matte, more of a semi-matte finish I'd say. The downside is that while it adheres well, the coverage isn't quite enough on its own, so it might be best to use it with a concealer. There's also a slight fragrance, but it doesn't bother me personally. I recommend using it together with a concealer. - ji*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2020
I'm a fan of matte finishes, and this product starts off a bit dewy but becomes beautifully matte over time, giving a natural look! I thought it would wear off after sweating under my mask, but surprisingly, it stayed put! That was a huge plus for me. As someone with dry skin, I tried applying this without any skincare prep, and it really emphasized my dry patches. If you have dry skin like me, I strongly recommend doing your skincare routine before using this product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2020
(I don't have large red blemishes, but I do have many small ones and milia) ☆Packaging: I won't say much, but personally, I find it absolutely gorgeous. It's rare to see such a beautiful cushion compact. ☆Color: I prefer a natural look, but shade 4 Ginger doesn't seem to suit me... It's quite light. For those with slightly darker skin tones, shade 5 Sand might be a better choice. ☆Application: It's so-so. Doesn't seem much different from other cushions in terms of how it applies. ☆Coverage: I place a lot of importance on coverage, and even though my blemishes aren't particularly red, they don't seem to be completely concealed. I don't feel like it covers milia either. If coverage is crucial for you, you might want to consider other products... ☆Finish: There's no noticeable glow, it has an extremely matte finish. It's a product that can hold up decently even without powder. The matte, velvety finish is quite nice. ☆Wear: The way it wears down is absolutely beautiful... When it settles into the skin a bit, there's a natural, non-artificial glow... it's just so pretty. It's been hard to find a compact foundation with such beautiful wear, but this product really excels in that aspect. ×: As mentioned above, the coverage isn't great. If you have severe milia and blemishes like me, you might be disappointed with the coverage. ×: The overall color range seems quite light. Those with darker skin tones might be able to use shades 3 or 4, but if you prefer a more natural look, you might want to go for an even lower shade number than those. @: For those with many red blemishes, applying concealer before the cushion can provide decent coverage. @: It's advisable to be careful when choosing your shade...
